Something about watching inexperienced 20 somethings act like they've never had a drop of liquor in their lives just doesn't do it for me like it used to. I always thought the ball drop in NYC was the most overrated thing outside of the Hoover Dam I ever went out of my way to see (being wedged in with a bunch of non-deodorant wearing clowns counting down a clock), but I'm now convinced most public New Year's gatherings everywhere are for the pigeons. Next year I'm either going to a jazz or low key pub, or will just stay home and let the amateurs have their night. Anyone else not particularly amused by rookies and alcohol?

I agree, I'm in that group of 20 somethings, but I don't go out much in public with those people. Since it's annoying seeing people act in that manner.
