Default I'll Never Go To Another Public New Year's Outing Again....

Something about watching inexperienced 20 somethings act like they've never had a drop of liquor in their lives just doesn't do it for me like it used to. I always thought the ball drop in NYC was the most overrated thing outside of the Hoover Dam I ever went out of my way to see (being wedged in with a bunch of non-deodorant wearing clowns counting down a clock), but I'm now convinced most public New Year's gatherings everywhere are for the pigeons. Next year I'm either going to a jazz or low key pub, or will just stay home and let the amateurs have their night. Anyone else not particularly amused by rookies and alcohol?

You think that's bad, the idiots around here were shooting fireworks and throwing bottles at cars.

Type of kids that cannot decide if they're trying to be mobsters or gangsters, gelled hair, gold chains, names that end in vowels yet pants that drop below their waistline and overpriced basketball player sneakers.

I agree, I'm in that group of 20 somethings, but I don't go out much in public with those people. Since it's annoying seeing people act in that manner.
