Less than a month after he was assured he would return, Brian Billick has been fired as Ravens head coach, a team source said today.

about time. best move the ravens have made in a while. he needs to take his arrogant self somewhere else.

This was inevitable. Make room for Rex Ryan (fingers crossed).

Ravens have a lot of problems. I agree Billick should go, but IMO, he's not the problem there.

Once they lost that Patriots game the writing was on the wall. That team quit on him after that tough loss.

Hope the next coach is Rex Ryan. I hope the Ravens get rid of Boller as well.

If you saw the Dolphins game, and his decision not to let the team go for it on the goal line at the end of the game, that tells the whole story. Team's been struggling on offense all year, in the midst of a huge losing streak, charges all the way down the field behind Troy Smith, PUMPED UP............ and then he shits all over them telling them to get off the field because he doesn't trust them to punch it in. Then he yells at them when they come off the field for trying to stay out there. No way in hell Willis McGahee doesn't punch that ball in with a run up the middle. None.

If your coach chooses said QB (Dilfer, Banks, Redman, Grbec, Boller, etc) than getting rid of him does mean something.
