Interesting, Pinny has Bucs -1 -140/+132... Bucs -3 shaded heavily to NYG at Cris and Olympic.

No value at all w/ Jags, quickly becoming a public darling, at +1/pk. Steelers or pass.

Lines are bouncing around, but Seattle dropped pretty fast (-6 to -4.5) and Jags went from +1 -105 to -125 and will probably end up favored here shortly.

I managed to snag Tampa -2.5 +105 at the greek, was only there for a second.

All road teams; they're playing better.

Advice that no one will heed, but so be it:

    1. Don't bet the house on the Jaguars. Even without Parker the game looks to be close to pk'em. If EVERYONE likes the Jags and they line doesn't move much, someone doesn't like them.

    2. Don't bet the house on the Redskins. Yes, they've been hot lately but Seattle can be a bitch to beat at home. I have the Seahawks as 6 point favorites, so I just don't see the Washington hysteria.

    3. Don't bet the house on the Giants. The Bucs have played a weaker schedule, and caught some of their opposition at the right time (see Jaguars, Quinn), but even taking that into account the Bucs are statistically stronger than the Giants. I know the Giants were a solid road team, but the Bucs are getting no respect. Be careful.

    Good luck to y'all.

i like trying to tease 2 of the home teams that i like most. Probably do a 2-team 6 point teaser with the seahawks and steelers (Steelers +7 and Seattle +1)

you'd be teasing pitt to +5

you'd get a better price on a ml par for those teams if you think they each win su. obviously you know that, just my first thought about your play here.

Thanks for the heads up. I'll consider the ML parlay. Not sure if I want to give up on getting those points in that Steelers game yet. I was just checking out TheGreek and Steelers are +1 so that's why I said +7 since that is the only book I currently have/use.

oh my bad then. i was just using the lines i posted here. lord, pitt is already at +1. getting 7 with pitt is much better than the empty 5 i thought you were on. do your thing then man, i like it. i see you're in pa, any word on the weather for next weekend?

If you run a quality of opposition check and then compare the results you'll find that the Jags and Steelers are almost identical even though the Steelers had a slightly better point differential. The Chargers are much better than the Titans, who pretty mcuh are a .500 team. The Redskins faced a MUCH tougher schedule than the Seahawks and a decent case can be made the the Redskins would be a small favorite on a neutral field. Using this same methodology the Bucs are only a bit better than the Giants. I must confess I hadn't realized just how soft the Bucs and Seahawks schedules were, and how hard it was to be in the NFC East.

As for teasers, I suspect teasing the Steelers up to 7.5 and the Chargers down to 1.5 is probably solid, although your pricing would be better if you had a third option. Alas Washington +10.5 would be lousy, as would the teases on the Giants game.
