Default I like the "square" play tonight... Celtics +points

Sometimes you just have to toss out all the stats and handicapping angles and go with the gut play. The Celtics know they still have to prove they can beat teams on the road and out west. Yea, they had a creampuff schedule so far but I like them to get the hard wins and pick up the losses against teams they should beat. Not to mention, Kobe can disappear in big games.

We might see 4 tonight so Celts backers need to keep an eye on the line for now.

Anyone see any prop bets for Kobe scoring O/U his avg?

Wow, I guess I am a big square, because I took the Celtics on the ML. I just wish I didn't hit it early in the morning, because its up to 140 now.

Fourth road game in five nights for Celtics. Celtics on last game of road trip, playing without rest. I'm playing the usual quarter.

Yes, and if the Lakers win we are all Suckers.

But, if you get the best line like you still can on the Celts...you can't be a sucker IMO

That is called gambling, I try keeping myself out of it.

My stats and angles produced a line of LAL -1 and since historically this type of games are rarely very close I took Boston on the moneyline, small play.

I took Boston + pts too, despite the obvious smell of a trap. I rarely do this.

Someone at the MGM-Mirage really liked the Lakers, that ML was up to -185 at one point. About 20-25 cents higher then most places in the Valley.

Lakers are probably playing bad because of the shorts

This game is still early Bill. The Lakers will start hitting their stride in the 2nd half.

seriosly i think it's the shorts, back in the day when I played hoops everything with my uniform had to be perfect, shoes, shirt had to be tucked in right, no sleeves or else i would just be off that day. I have not been really watching the game but this is a crazy idea.

    Great call, Bill.

I was too late to get on them for the game, but took them at +4.5 for the 2nd half and they totally dominated.

If I liked the Lakers I would have waited for half time to see if the Celts sputtered out in the 2nd like back to backers on the road often do but they kept on rollin. Nice hit.
