I haven't thought of a legitimate idea but I'll think about it--

Off hand... I would make the site more accessible to people outside of the US ( because that's where most things are accepted.(I'm American BTW)

1. I'm not a real computer guy but make the site accessible in different languages, therefore more people would understand what SBR is all about. (you would gain more memberships,pros)

2. Get rid of the saloon. A nice concept but not it's not working well here. I would go back to the early days of AOL when they had different categories for age groups, interests, different sports, sports history, make it a meeting place for chat. Possibly more subjects that would interest women because this site is dominated by males. (obviously, behave appropriately). There could be a France, England, Spain, Ireland, Canada, etc. section to chat.

3. I would offer more to members who can get people to join.
4. Have a section that appeals to the gamer (video games mostly sports related but you can also have chess, checkers, ping pong, etc.. Don't give out points often but the person with the highest score to "slam jam" get's 250 points credited to their account.

5. Have a private zone for people that are drunk (call it the "drunk tank"). All the party people can hang out in there when they've had a few and feel like spewing whatever.

6. So many things (that's probably over the budget). A section for fans of particular teams or a section where each game is listed and people can chat about it SOLELY in that section.

7. Reward people who create posts that consistently win. Or take away points if they lose. If someone has a big thread about a team that's " +900 moneyline" with confidence, then reward them (a few points)

8. Ban people who make racial slurs (not acceptable)

9. People who enter contests should have a certain amount of posts. Some people don't post but enter contests often.

10. More trivia. Lot's of trivia buffs. Have a section in the contest forum for sports trivia.

11. Create a live cam in certain areas (haven't thought this through, will think later)

First off I would fix your login and password thing. I have to cut and paste everytime I enter my password off the email that you guys send me. The login hardly ever works for me. Also I would do away with this pro status bullshit. I did what I was supposed to do I got a 5 dimes account over $200 and you guys still haven't made me a pro. I went to the link and everything. I have emailed you guys about it and still haven't gotten any response.

Also I would ban some of the clowns in here that just troll and talk trash and some of these losers who make a thousand threads saying a pick is a lock when they are really just going to bet the opposite.


Basically just monitor all the posters who come on here and run the good posters off. Last summer Paco had a nice thread and I enjoyed coming on here to see what his picks were. Now everytime he post this guy Daimoisahomo comes on here harrases paco and everyone else. There is way too much shit talking and negatively allowed on here. This site has really gone down the drain as far as quaility posters recently. It's one thing to make a joke or give someone a hard time but some people on this forum really take it to another level with offensive comments.


This site is fun and has great potential I just wish it would be more about trying to make money and less about people making a thread and posting a lock when they don't even have real money on the game. Or if they do they are making the thread to jinx the other team.

SBR could give 2 shits about racial or gay slurs, heck I made them aware of one just the other day, and didn't even get a response back from Lou about it nor did he penalize the poster that used the slur... fkn joke and makes the site look unprofessional.

still haven't thought about it again. Have SBR Radio( with a live stream link). Not some 10 minute show. Depending on your budget, have a real lengthy show. Could be all day (but that's not realistic) where posters can call in and talk about sporting events in relation to betting. "I think Oregon is going to crush LSU"...blah blah, blah...that type of thing


I'd love to hear Brock Landers call in with a rubberband play and have him take some calls. Some people would root for him and some people would insult him. Would be comical. Perhaps a Brock Landers weekly segment with a documented rubberband play record.

You can have the guy that got a trip to the World Series of Poker. Have him take

Have an SBR Movie stream. Kind of like a redbox (so it's cheap). Posters can chat about the movie or turn off the chat.

One thing for sure, you will never hear a racial or gay slur come out of my mouth or be posted by me so to answer your question, NO, I have never posted a racial or gay slur on SBR.

The gay slur was not directed towards me, just got sick and tired of the dumb new kid (can't think of his name), the one that has 20+ threads on PT and has the Rock as his image, throwing around gay slurs left and right.

This isn't about an unwritten rule, its about mods not giving 2 shits and as a result, the site looks very unprofessional.

Have an SBR virtual card.You can either fill it up or win contests, etc. to fill it up. With the card, you can access all of the new features. Of course SBR needs to make a profit, therefore they have a vig and get small amount of money each time that the card is used. It enables them to pay for the new features like a toll pays for things in a town that we live in

Where cams, movies, and radio are concerned, involve JJ Gold. He's very intelligent and is being wasted as a paid poster. He starting to go through the motions. Who wouldn't after 100,000+ posts. It's getting old but his talent is legitimate. It needs to be professional. Not some f this and f that. Sometimes the cursing is too much. It's like it's done on purpose.

Make pro status the only way to post more than, say, 3x day on the site. Also eliminate the point system altogether for non-pros. And make different levels of pro status, i.e. deposit $1000 w a sponsor book and get 24 points a day.

i would like to select top players and organize a team that can participate in events representing SBR poker.
moneys from the event to be share 60% to sbr 40% to the team.
There are event like the Forum Challange and similar ones on line and live,
I think that by doing that we can atract some more competive players from abroad and generate a strong reresentation.

Already mentioned, but bears repeating...offer some intervention into point lending.

Why you can't please everyone, you can give "accredited" lender status to those who meet set criteria. If these lenders who pay for the priv have issues with no pays, you in turn suspend the pro status of the offending party/ban the ip.

Second, build the social media facing. Where is SBR on facebook or the new google service.

Third, buyout GamblingIQ...don't know the history between current SBR staff and Dirty, but guy is solid and would be a huge plus if added to a leading site like SBR. I know there are those who have their issues with the man from his past employers, but he knows forums and has a nice product right now.

Fourth, offer links to live streaming of events via SBRodds from feeds off the net as available.

Fifth-xmas points bonus for all pros, and while we're at it extra points or trivia for birthdays.

Sixth-discussion forum for land based casinos-sportsbooks, a vegas locals forum.
