Default Which other books round off your money?

I know CRIS does, but wondering what other books out there do that, meaning if you bet 1 unit at the traditional -110 vig, you'd win back .909 units, but at cris, they round down and only give you .9 units, thus keeping the change.

imgv94 posted that he bet $500 to win $450 at Carib in the football forum, I don't have an account there, but the only way that wager works is if he bet a -111 line there and they took away the 45 cents in change (Betting $500 at -111 returns $450.45). I thought they were a 20c book, -110 each side, meaning $500 should bring back $454.54, If this book is taking away $4.54 on every nickel bet, that's horrible. I don't think a book is worthy of a B- rating if they keeping $4.54 off every $500 wager.

Just curious which other highly rated books out there do this. I think this is one of the most egregious glitches in the offshore sportsbooks. It still boggles my mind how much free money CRIS gets from this Office Space type scam.

Change adds up when you have lots of high volume action at some books. Thoughts?

Very interesting question OWNED. The only one I know about is CRIS myself. I agree, this is something even they should address. Thats alot of coin stacking up with all the bets they get in a year. Maybe a software upgrade is needed so there is no need to round down the difference.

Everybody loves them and gives them constant praise, so why should they bother? If I can get away with stealing tons of money, I'd keep the software upgrade at the bottom of my priority list as well.

Just went to Carib to check it out - I tried to place a bet and it didn't round down anything, I really don't think they do it. In the wagers I've placed there, it's never happened to me before.

Betcris is the only one that springs to mind. Yes, it might only be the odd $ or so but it's the principle. And it's annoying.

Guardian will round in your favor if it's 50 cents or more. CRIS should do the same.

Maybe imgv94 is right and they only round down on future wagers?

I also dislike this thing about Betcris. I've played there a bit but don't really like their odds. Standard -110 on spreads is what every book got and is no competition to Pinnacle or other reduced juice books. Also the rounding will add up a lot in a year worth of wagers especially if you bet small stakes and lots of bets. There are other books using the same software that doesn't round down, so don't really know if they couldn't do anything about it.

It's a good question. Ther eis no reason for books not to use decimal points. Next time I notice a book skimming a few cents I'll post it.

No juice sports will round it up ( or down), I believe ABC Islands does also.

ASAP and DSI also do I believe

I have no problem with the few books that will round EITHER up or down. Should even out in the long run

but I think CRIS, ASAP, and DSI always round down

I reckon John's the beneficiary from the Cris skimming - don't think we'll be seeing that one getting fixed.

I think there are more issues than that with this book. Overrated, imho. Doesn't mean that they aren't a solid book, but just not as great as everybody hails them to be. What really do they offer that is better than Pinny besides a few idle MLs here and there.

This one at CRIS still gets me though:

Overrated imo too. Got pretty bad customer service few times at live chat and once they didn't answer my email at all. Had to go to livechat after 24h, as i didn't want to wait anymore. Also average odds and i don't like their page layout and software at all. I played there with the free Prick contest money an was able to withdraw pretty nice sum, but without great contest bonuses like this, I could think of dozen better books to deposit my money first.

any update on whether or not Cris plans on fixing this issue?...let me re-state that I think they are the best full juice book out there (but there are many great low juice books)...
