Question Who is getting tired of Boston Sports?

    • Red Sox
    • Patriots
    • Celtics

You could probably throw the Boston College football team up there as well, but they fell off a bit at the end of the season, but still had a good one.

I know the Yankee fans are.

I know there are many out there that are tired of hearing about the New England area, and their teams. Well, maybe not RJT. These are good times for you guys out there.

It could be the most amazing three team streak in pro sports history:

The Red Sox finished 7-0 and won the World Series.
The Patriots are 15-0 and the Celtics are 22-3.

That's 44-3, one championship, and counting. My heart tells me that's unprecedented for sure.

Incidentally, what do you have against this incredible streak? I say enjoy the show.

Everyone who isn't from new england/Boston area?

I'm in my glory these days.

Wasn't to long ago the Pats weren't very good, and the Celtics have sucked for years.

After the Yankees being the power in the AL East for years the sox have taken over. Noway I'm sick of the Sox being better than the Yankees recently...

    I am.

I enjoy watching good teams play dont get me wrong. Loved that Clev Boston series. The Indy Pat game was over hyped but a great game to sit down and watch. I havent seen a full Celtic game yet. I cant take them seriously until they waltz through the west where the real teams are. They got a great roster though.

I agree with you DM about the Yankees. I am glad to see the power as switched to the Red Sox.

It could be unprecedented if the Patriots can win the Super Bowl and the Celtics take the NBA title. Would wipe out the only other 'city streak' I can think of in my lifetime, that belonging to New York in 1969-70. Joe Namath and the Jets won the Super Bowl in Jan 1969, the Mets won the World Series in Oct 1969, and the Knicks followed with the NBA title in May 1970. If the Celtics and the Patriots can win their respective titles, it will be the only time I can come up with that a single city or even region has held the MLB, NBA and NFL trophies at the same time.

One of the most amazing things about that New York bit in 1969-70 was the Jets beat the Baltimore Colts to win SB III, the Mets beat the Baltimore Orioles to win the WS, and the Knicks beat the Baltimore Bullets in the Eastern Conference Finals before topping the Lakers in the NBA Finals.

Boston based bookies probably aren't too happy.
