Default Silva (-120) vs Liddell (+110)

I really like Silva in this match. To be honest Liddell in his prime was a very good fighter but I always felt like he was over hyped and overrated. Silva is a tough fighter who at this stage in his career is with no doubt the better fighter right now. I will gladly lay the -120 in this match. I think this line should be more around (-150) or even a little higher but thanks to Liddell being over hyped we get Silva at a cheaper price....

Sliva is a tank. He took a S-load of shots. Most people would have been knocked out. That was the best fight of the night IMO.

Hughes fight was disappointing to me. GSP was a freak. Man he's unreal.

What do you mean by this? In the non-heavyweight class there has really been an emergence of some of the all-time greatest fighters to ever set foot in a ring along with just some really really good fights in general. Ten years include pretty much all of De La Hoya's (Okay... like last 11 years) career in addition to all the current notable fighters. Its just people seem to think the decline of HW boxing being indicative of the entire sport.

There's been a shift away from the HW division to the smaller classes. Twenty years ago you have Evander Holyfield fighting as a HW, now you see Roy Jones fighting at light heavyweight. This is excellent for the sport.

Yeah, the heavy weight division is a joke. That's a good point. The smaller weight classes have had some great guys in it.

All i was trying to say, is that with the emergence of UFC. Boxing is boring to me. 12 rounds of guys dancing around, hugging each other, and not throwing punches gets old quick to me. There's some good fights in boxing. But many times i paid 50 bucks, for a fight just to see guys play defense and that's it.

UFC guys go at each other, it's just alot more exciting to me.

    You couldn't be more wrong.

    Obviously you didn't watch Marquez/Vazquez 1 or 2, Pavlik/Taylor, Pavlik/Miranda, Mosley/Cotto, Cotto/Judah, Katsidis/Amonsot, Bika/Codrington, Williams/Margarito, or Linares/Larios.

2007 was the best year for boxing in decades. It's also the easiest sport (by far) to make money in.
