Default If the skins make the playoffs and JC is ready to play

does collins get a chance to start in 08 if the skins win next weekend and win a playoff game? the fans here are talking like he should have been the man from the get go. people are also suggesting that another team will sweep in and make collins a big offer....that aint happening.

I think they have to make the Super Bowl for Campbell to lose his job next year. I see Washington in the NFC chammpionship though, Seattle and Green Bay are extremely soft, and they definitely can beat Dallas with TO not 100%.

glenn will be playing this weekend, so he could be a real boost for that offense if they can get him and to each back at 100%. but, as you said, if to isnt 100%...this team becomes a lot less scary.

how many teams could lose 6 starters and still look as good as the skins do right now? a tribute to coach gibbs who has been under a lot of heat since his return to the NFL.

no way mofo. Jason Campbell is the future. He wasnt playing too bad just going thru growing pains. He was definitely showing strides this season. Collins is nothing more than a good #2 insurance policy

Todd Collins has played smart, but you should expect that from a 13 year veteran. The only people who would seriously call for him to start in 08 in place of Jason Campbell are fickle Washington fans. Realistically, I don't think there's a coach on that staff who is seriously considering that possibility.

Todd is playing like a quality back up, and making less mistakes than a 25 year old, but Jason Campbell in my mind still represents the future for the Skins and I don't see sitting him in place of a 36 year old next year as the right move. Jason has played 20 games in his career, let's give him some more time to develop into what many people believe him to be.

    rickysteve,

Go to Miami and say that.

As a skins fan, I would have to say....no. Todd Collins since the pre-season has been better than campbell. Will JC eventually surpass him yes. Can he put points on the board now? No.

The way I see it the skins are comparable to those early millenium KC teams right now. Same offense with the same talent. Its just distributed differently. If the skins can score 20 points consistently than they are at least the third best team in the NFC.
