Planes,trains and automobiles was on Comedy Central yesterday.The best scenes were when they were driving the rental car from St.Louis to Chicago.First John Candy gets his jacket caught in the car seat that turns into a straightjacket,then he recovers from that and starts driving the wrong way on a 4 lane getting sandwhiched between 2 semis and then the car burns from his errantly tossed cigarette that fell in the backseat.That was some of funniest stuff I ever saw in a 10 minute stretch of a movie.

Then there was Dumb and Dumber where the mobster is trying to kill them and he's accidentally foiled on every attempt.The part where they go in the red hot pepper restaurant where the mobster dies is the funniest part of that movie.The diner part where the redneck gets hit with the salt shaker was pretty funny too and so was running into the same redneck at the truckstop bathroom down the road.

Caddy Shack was funny but overrated in my opinion and I could name 40 more funny movies but the 2 I mentioned to me are the funniest.


At least during Christmas the networks take a break from spewing the usual crap and play some funny movies.

Anything with Steve Martin or John Candy.

I love all the movies listed but I still think my Favorite has to be Tommy Boy, There are so many funny lines........Farley was a clasic and his humor is missed.
