    Default Instant Replay a Joke!

Listen I understand being an offical in a football game is a tough job. However we have instant replay for a reason , and that is too review the play and get the call right on the field. Late in the UTAH NAVY bowl game, the utah WR clearly fumbled the ball and should have been a touchback. Maybe the outcome of the game would not have changed, but I just don't understand how the referees can look at that play in slow motion and rule that he was out of bounce before he fumbled! Im confused on this call. He clearly was in bounce, HOW CAN SOMEONE NOT SEE THAT? I seen it in fast motion and said it was a touch back and then when i viewed it in slow motion replay , anyone could clearly see he was in bounce. That is just sickning to me.

I agree 100%. I'm watching the game right now, and that bad call cost Navy the game.

It may not have changed the outcome, but it sure would be interesting to see what would have happened had Navy gotten the ball at the 20, as they should have, instead of the 1. Ultimately, Navy +9 won either way, but those who bet Navy on the m/l lost a chance to win a bet due to incompetent officials, both on the field and in the booth.

of course it changed the outcome. that was a ridiculous call. whoever made that decision should lose his job and be replaced by someone thats competent/honest.

I missed that play but saw it when they showed it again late in the 4th. What did they rule there? They gave Navy the ball at the 1? Or they gave Utah a TD? Obviously it should have been Navy's ball on the 20. The ball hit the pylon.

Are you busy for the next few weeks? There are a bunch of bowls that need someone to monitor the replays

Ok you mean Navys ball on the 1? OK. Well, a bad call but only 19 yards of field position. A tough 19 no doubt. I thought when I saw it maybe they gave Utah a TD.

na, it was utahs ball at the 1. navy then held utah on the following play and it was a turn over on downs. 19 yards is a lot. utah could have run out the clock with a first and a knee....but instead they were left with a first and goal. large difference for the total.

No, they gave Utah the ball at the 1, and they missed on 4th down. Ultimately, the only ones who benefited were the over bettors.

It was near the end of the game with all ATS bets on the line. According to replay official the player was out of bounds before he lost the ball. To-tal BS.

They gave Utah 4th down on the 1, instead of Navy 1st down on the 20... Utah didn't score on 4th down, but Navy was pinned to their goal line and went three and out. Utah scored TD right after. The call completely changed the game. Only, THIS TIME, it didn't matter ATS... No thanks to the zebras.

Ohhhh they gave Utah the ball at the one???? Terrible. Shiit Im as bad as the refs sticthing that play back together.

Hated to see Navy throw that pick. Down 3 with 55 seconds and a 2nd and 2 from around mid field they didnt need to be desperate. Those wide sweeps end up out of bounds anyway.

Good game congrads to all the Navy backers.

Their QB should have just scrambled on that play to get closer to FG range. They can't pass, and still had one TO. Anywhere else on the field 19 yards might not be a big deal, but backed up to your own 1 as opposed to the 20 ( especially on a running team) can take 90% of the playbook out of the equation. I still can't get over how someone upstairs can watch that and make that call. It makes no sense , there is no way he could have seen the guy out of bounds!. . . I like some info on the guy up stairs in the box ( and what conference he is from) Someone look that up.
