Default Consider This My Application For Moderation

"A gambling cyborg sent back in time to control troublemakers and protect lucky punters. BigBollocks, you've been targeted...for moderation."

SBR as you continue to grow you're going to need more moderators. I've held five figure balances at almost all of your A books at one point or another, and feel I have a bring a perspective that's needed from a moderation standpoint. I may not like a poster or two, but even guys like JamieUK would never have their posting privileges disturbed by me (just as Ganch, John, and Willie, I wouldn't hesitate to trade barbs either still). I would, however, be quick to delete spamming messages and boot shills. I'll tell you up front I wouldn't refrain from dissenting when I felt it necessary, and would still view things from an objective players' perspective. Let me know when that spot opens up...

Thanks Buztah! It was one of my best weekends of the season for sure, but didn't even really feel like it. It's weird to go .500, clean up like that, and even be a tad frustrated that you could have had more lol. Cheers...

    Agreed.

To offer something that isn't needed must be his idea of charity (or would that be takeover?). Sorry to see you veer in that direction, BB.

    Billy you broke?

When one becomes a mod it admits failure and one has financial issues.

Yes, though interacting with all of the posters here is reward enough for me.

Bill started as a forum mod and made the best of it in a big way. BB would be a good guy ti have. He can certainly argue his point of view.

Ah, I remember those days John. Bill and me were working on quite a few projects when he was at Todayslines.

Big Bullocks is a savvy veteran who knows the game well. He doesn't go around the forums picking underdogs and anti public plays to make him appear smart and different.

Big Bullocks opinions are spot on plus his experience is valuable..

I applied last year for a position but was told they weren't hiring now. They told me to check back in the spring as there might be an opening....

Getting a moderator position use to be a dead end job, but recently the job carries with it a little bit more prestige than it use to.

if sbr is looking for a new mod, why not first look at someone from a euro-direction (I could be wrong, but I don't think there is one right now) as opposed to another american. Since a growing number of posters on this forum are euro-bettors, it would be nice to see that change represented in the sbr-organization.

and while you're at it, maybe that could be a first unrelated step towards sbr finally giving euro- and aussie books the ratings they deserve.

The last thing SBR needs is a bunch of illiterate eastern European midgets babbling on in broken English about

"Bookie make these theft of mine monies, am sure Mr Dozer wants to make theft book downgrade"

It really would be the end.

I think SBR should make me a moderator, a new broom is whats needed here, first its out with the Yankies and the illiterates, then I would fill the forum with British gentlemen who gamble on Cricket and quality British horse racing.

I'm sure you will all agree that would be a welcome upgrade.

This "moderation" thing has now gone to the extremes. Jamie and Richard Simmons want to be Mods--yikes!

I never met a mod that did not have some sort of mental issues, usually something wrong with them as they cannot get jobs in the real world.

Drug and liquor play a major part in a mods life

    sad

Damn, JJ's on to me. Guess I might as well come clean.

My name's Willie Bee and I'm addicted to Advil and Mexican Martini's. Just 1-2 tini's have the effect of liquid viagra on me, though I realize that the thought of someone my age having sex -- Yes, with another living, breathing human being of the female gender -- conjures up gross images.

More than two Mexican Martini's is when the Advil comes in handy.
