I'm really bad with buying myself stuff (never really treat myself), but I love buying gifts for other people. Lately I'm buying gifts for managers in Costa Rica more than anyone else though..

This Christmas I didn't withdraw, however last christmas I went on a shopping spree for family. My daughter got a new computer, g/f got a digital camera and diamond pendant, my parents got their driveway shovelled all winter etc.

Right now I'm doing the JJ thing and reinvesting everything to build my roll up.

i'd guess that 99% of peoples' so called "winnings" are truly just return of "capital investment"

what is this "winning" term you guys speak of. i am quite unfamiliar with it. heh winnings go into other accounts usually. full tilt got a hefty donation last week and then quickly sent me on a bad beat streak... that ever happen to you guys? a shitty streak shows up at the poker tables right after you deposit? coincidence, fuk no. then your forced to play catch up for a while.. fixed, but closer to a computer than a poker room so it is what it is

Hopefully I can buy myself out of the $4000 i owe to ****, and then have some left over.

    I turned $350 into $5000.

Now just waiting for a couple betED payouts. 1 from betUS too. Hopefully they pay quickly!

    2Pac,

What did you bet on to get from $350 to $5000? Sounds like some solid choices there.

    Goodluck with the payouts!

I have a separate checking account that is for wagering, mostly horses, but some sports as well. My budget is about seven percent of my yearly income. When I catch a nice score the funds go into a savings account in which I don't touch for gambling purposes. I've learned from the past its to easy to get out of control after a nice score. This is a form of money management that has worked for me the past few years.

****ing assholes don't take teh money out of your account until they "process the withdrawal" which takes 48-72 hours.

I got 2000 but lost the rest because they are ****ing oysters, just like every other site that leaves the money in your account until they process the withdrawal. Bullshit. Its all a ploy to keep your money as long as possible.

I have not withdrawn any this year because I am in need of a new car soon - ( might take awhile... )

Last year I took a trip to Cali to visit family.

don't fall into their trap, let it sit. A lot of sites do that because they know people will bet with the money. Self control here goes a long way.

Thanks to some early returns on college hoops totals and a decent Sep-Oct in baseball, we're getting one of these newfangled high-def televisions in the near future. Being the tightwad I am, we're hoping to fins some post-holiday sales.

My winnings go toward Food, Shelter and Clothing.

Obviously I'm skinny, naked and living in a cardboard box.
