Default CBR Rating for BetUS

BetUS currently has a D- rating. Recently I received slick looking promotional literature from BetUS and Jesse Ventura is prominently endorsing BetUS. Currently I have a small balance with BetUS. Any change in store for its rating?

Its a bad time of year to be topping up your funds at those low rated books. Don't worry the slick literature will always keep coming. The truth is it never stops.

This rating was due to the many player ripp offs that BetUS scammed players out of in the past. Lately they have settled a number of those scams and are making an effort to not scam. They are under rated at D- in my opinion. Maybe D+ to C might be a more "today" rating for them.

Sportsbooks like BetUS who have scammed bettors in the past should never get a "C" rating. Apparently they had a good year last year, so the scamming stopped. If they should fall on bad times, the ripoffs will start up again. Guaranteed!!

I always like to think people can change. I never thought we would see Tej take a book into a 2nd football season but he did. I think BetUS/Russo is making an effort to go straight as is Royal/Tej.

But players need to take Chuck's point seriously too. These are past scammers and no one denies that. So they have no honor its simply a business decission that they figure they can make more money not scamming.

They should get an F for the Playdsi.com site they are still running. They really can't fully change their true colours, can they?

I heard from a few sources that the reason behind the BetUS new leaf has to do with Joey Rizzo moving in with Tony Robins 'the motivational speaker' for a month, and that has changed his outlook on life. I dont know how true it is, but I have heard some good things about BetUS since his 'Turn Around'

If he's living with Tony Robbins, then he is truly learning how to be a scam artist.

SBRJohn says it best. BetUS has no honor, its simply a business decision that they figure they can make more money not scamming.

Convicted swindler Nevtej Kohli is running Royal Sports the same way he ran all his other sportsbook/casinos that he closed. Large bonus offers, spam e-mails, stall payouts. Eventually he will lose his cutomer base, and then Tej pulls the plug and leaves the bettors high and dry.

I really like BetUS. I've been playing with then for the past 6 months. They have always paid me on time and their customer service is great. There website is fast and everything can be done on line. They also have the most generous bonuses -- 45% on reloads over $2K. They seem to have a shady past, but I hope the keep up their current level of service.

You seem more like a indirect promoter, however I do agree BetUS offers of bonuses that are out of their mind, I have never seen bonuses like these but, time will tell if they pay up. BetUs is very tempting site

Read the "up to" fine print on the bonuses.

While they did "settle" with a few past debts it wasn't by paying them. They made MyFootballGame deposit money and rollover even more money instead of just paying the money they owed.

Yes, he accepted those terms because it was that or the highway, but I hardly consider what they made him go through a step in the right direction. It was more of the same old BS. They shouldn't be able to "settle" past debts and get the same recognition as if they paid them in full. If they paid them in full they should be brought up to D+/C-.

Anyone else see it the way I do?

If he didn't agree to keep his mouth shut as part of the terms of the deal, I am sure he would tell you the same thing. Unlike BetUS, when he makes a commitment, he sticks to it.

Times have changed. Reputation and player retention is worth more than ever because there are fewer places to advertise. Books realize they can no longer cheat or nickel and dime their way to success. It was always a battle between marketing and reputation, and marketing is finally losing.

It's tough to assess books like BetUS and BOS. They seemed to have learned their lesson but at the expense of the past customers. SBR is faced with the challenge of giving today's players an accurate idea of the current risk and benefits while not overlooking what the company's foundation was built on.

BetUs has evolved into a lower risk book than the recent rating dictates. Did ownership suddenly start to feel bad about a stiff job in '98? Probably not. Paying off old debts is a good investment. Going in this direction often means a different direction in management so one can argue that these positive moves are not a complete facade.

BetUs is at D+. There is currently one major complaint pending and if they will address it, a C- is likely around the corner. Ratings do not tell the whole story which is why SBR has other resources like a search feature and now, this forum.
