    Question Buddy List.. Can someone explain whats the purpose of this?

    Anyone use their buddy list feature?

    According to the vBulletin manual:

    The buddy list is used to keep track of the friends you have made on this forum. By going to your "Open Buddy List" in "Quick Links" menu of the navbar, you'll be able to see which of your friends are currently online and send them a private message. Adding people to your buddy list also allows you to send private messages to multiple forum members at the same time. You may add any member of the forums to your buddy list by viewing their profile or by going to "Buddy / Ignore Lists" in your "User CP".
    Although I don't believe that on this forum, "Adding people to your buddy list" is necessary to allow a user "to send private messages to multiple forum members at the same time".

    Right, it's set to allow you to send PMs to up to five (5) posters at once.

    The Buddy List will also allow you to set your PMs where you only receive PMs from posters on your Buddy List (and mods/admins).

    Yeah it does kind of seem like a feature in search of a usage.
