I hope everything is all ok with him. He had back surgery once before.

It must have happened with 1:20something to go in the game... I have NBA Pass but I was watching the scores on the net since I was trying to middle the total which missed by 3... I saw a flagrent foul and there was a lot of time that went by before they updated it...

I'll have to catch SportsCenter for it..

Yeah, I had money on the Raptors tonight, so I was watching it on the computer. Kid took a hard fall right on his neck. He was driving to the hoop, got smacked in the mouth, and the momentum from the smack, made him fall backwards to the court. He basically landed on his head, and his neck snapped forward. He looked pretty bad.

I saw it and it was scary, especially due to his past injury.

ESPN just said he is moving his extremities, is expected to stay in the hospital overnight, but all looks ok.

I saw it on The Score, Torontos highlight channel. He's gonna be okay. That was a hard smack to the forehead though, and then when he landed he hit the back of his head. The brain is like Jello... It cant that that shit.

same thing happend to me playing Hockey. The back of my head hit the glass and i was knocked out and still standing my helmet flew off and then i landed face first into the ice. When i woke up I didnt know where I was, and I was crying too. I think because I didnt remember anything 30 mins before being K.O.'d.

I think death is going to be like getting K.O.d out.

Former NBA player, coach, and Ford's workout coach, John Lucas told ESPN.com that he spoke with Ford's girlfriend, Candace Dixon, Tuesday night and that she told Lucas that Ford had feeling in his arms and legs and did have range of motion. Lucas said Dixon told him they were awaiting results of a CAT scan and that Ford didn't lose consciousness.

sucks because TJ is a real community guy and a genuine good person. It's a shame that his career may end abruptly if this keeps happening.....hopefully he takes a couple months off after this one.

Yeah I agree... I didn't see it until late last night and I expected a lot worse.. From the way you guys made it sound I expected to see him jack knife and land on his neck...
