The NFL fined Baltimore Ravens players for calling into question the integrity of officials? HUH??? They can't have an opinion?

Curious, what exactly did these players do? Isn't it true that one of them threw the ref's flag into the bleachers, and then told reporters in the locker room the ref had called him a "boy". Unfortunately, we don't have "free speech" with our employers. I can't go into work and give my opinion about my boss; these players are employed by the NFL, and I have to disagree that they should be allowed to say whatever they want.

I think the whole world questioned the officials in that game so why can't players. If you asked me it looked like the officials were concerned on hitting the OVER. I bet they made a few bucks on those calls.

When you question the integrity of the officials, you're going to get fined 100% of the time. And this is pretty much across the board in all the sports, pro and college. There are proper channels for teams to raise questions with the league concerning questionable calls during a game. Running off at the mouth to the media how the NFL wants the Patriots to win is not one of them!

Of course they can have an opinion, but unless they want to get fined, they should keep their opinions to themselves.
