They are their own enemy...giving -105 and basically inviting all scalpers of the world (until they get delayed lol).

And on the other hand not doing shit to make the average Joe stay...average CS (at best), slow deposits, unreliable website, no free neteller wd for smaller players, late lines.
A very bad mix, that actually makes zero sense.

I see Cascade going to credit only within a year

After some more thought, they're A- in my book (not B+), because they have low juice and financial security. In almost all other categories they have room for improvement, so that would create a big gap between A- and A for them; maybe big enough to make them B+.

To me personally, a drop from any type of A to any type of B is fairly dramatic these days, especially after what happened to WWTS (in other words, B+ to A- is more meaningful than B to B+; that's just how I interpret ratings). So I would have preferred not to rock the boat and keep them at A- if nothing substantially has changed. On the other hand, if it inspires them to improve their overal performance, maybe a temporary B+ isn't such a bad thing. All depends on how they take criticism.

cascade is ok, probably a B or B+, no overnight lines is inconvenient, and overall just a notch below

    BST,

I definitely think it's strange that we aren't getting a straight answer regarding cascade...

    bigdog,

I'd like to hear more about your experience as well...

I'll echo Pags, I'd like to hear BigDog's story.

As for "not getting a straight answer", maybe it has something to do with the fact that Cascade is a sponsor for http://www.sbrodds.com/. Nothing positive can be said about a downgrade from A- to B+.

I agree with Ricky. Getting withdrawals can be a bit of a pain in the ass, sometimes they're processed very quickly, sometimes it takes a few days of calling, using live support, etc. to get it processed. I don't think they deliberately slowpay, I think their customer service is just inferior. And paying $25 for a slow withdrawal is ridiculous. If you're going to charge for withdrawals, they should be almost instantaneous.

Also, Cascade is quite literally my only book that doesn't have instant deposits. Fun fun fun to try to deposit at 11pm and not have it processed until 10am the next day.

    Forget about that last one!

    John,
Believe it or not, but it was on your forum that the very first mention was made that this joint was in trouble. I tried to find the thread, but noticed that threads over a year old get deleted?

    I like them, but beware:

IF you get a "warning, line changed" be careful, when you click cancel it's just like hitting confirm, and they still try to place the bet through.

Once my browser entered the password and I hit cancel and the bet went through. I was able to call support and have them cancel the bet, and I'm sure to turn auto-password off for that site now, but be careful.

Besides that I like them. The delay they put on sharps and the withdrawal fees aren't great, though. B+ is about right.

Is there a time limit on threads?

i would love to add cascade to my books.......but the no free widthdraw pisses me off. There are books out there like wsex you get a freebee every 10 days and matchbook unlimited.....i make a lot of withdraws and this is important to me. Even Pinny has one free one every calender month. That 25 dollars a pop would really add up for me......on average I make about a withdraw per week....multiply that by about 50 or so and you are staring down the barrel of about 2G's in fees for a year. F that .

Books like Cascade and Skybook may underestimate the effect of their small-minded 'money in for free, but not out for free' policy.

The way to change this is to stop betting at such books and tell them why.

Yep Cascade ****** up with the $25 flat fee, they discourage smaller players and at the same time they did lower their limits on everything as far as i noticed.
They have a system that is bound to fail, they want to be a book for Pros but offer late lines and make many other mistakes.
