Default If you were a Pats fan?

If you were a Pats fan wouldn't it be a good idea to bet against your team from here on out until they lose, so if they don't go 16-0 atleast you win some money as a consolation.

I'm not a pats fan, but I can't stand them 72' dolphin losers, I'm going to bet against the patriots until they lose, because I really want to see them go undefeated and see them 72' old dolphin geezer's cry about it when it happens. It would be priceless.

I believe this theory falls into the "gambler fallacy" category.

No matter what YOU bet, it will have ZERO effect on the outcome of anything.
Your wagers against the Pats will not keep them undefeated, that will be achieved / not achieved by the players on the field.

    Just my $0.02

Also, they could lose their last game of the season and your previous losing wagers would be for nothing.

    Am I making any sense?

I wouldn't fade them just for the heck of it. Realistically, if we examine their schedule Pittsburgh has the most legitimate shot at beating them. I know anything can happen, but just being realistic I don't see the winless Dolphins or the Jets getting it done.

Now the Giants are probably going to be in a position where they rest players of their own, that and should NE be 15-0 at that point I would most certainly not fade them because I think at that point they would break the record.
