I would follow red hot and or extremely intelligent and proven posters
like of course MYSELF!! and Razz,misteve,slacker00,isetcap,begolf25, Illusion...

And stay away from losers, guys that get jealous and diss good handicappers
who are +150 in units like Winston Smith,Quarm,Tacomax, and a few others
I don't want to mention cuz they are cool. There's some people
on here that know nothing. But its the people like Razz and the boys who
    keep this forum going.

I mean look at Winston Smith's picks today.. They didn't even get close. I faded his
terrible pickin azz and made me some $$$.. Can't
beat that.. A winner is a winner.. A loser is a loser..

    Why not do both?

I haven't tried this system, at least consciously, but I think you'd need a history of at least 100 picks to get anything remotely statistically meaningful. I'm not sure it would be worth the effort of collecting and analysing the data.

fading a losing poster is more profitable overall, rather than following a red hot poster.

I personally like to make my own estimations but i read a lot of posters and follow on good cappers. Especially at BettingAdvice message board, where some of the guys really post good long previews with reasoning and information behind their picks.

Never really understood fading anyone. Can somebody really suck consistently enough long term to make it profitable? Especially at handicap sides as most of the lines are very well set and without some good information betting on many of the matches are like coin tosses.

Whats up juuso!! how ya doing??

Yes just like everyone. There's winners, losers,
and in-betweens.. There's some people on
here who know absoultely nothing but act like
they do. I give reasoning behind all my great picks.

Watch for the bitter guys. Guys that talk bad to
posters over +150 units, if they knew better they would
join instead. well a sucker is a sucker..

Ive done great this year (mostly on my own hanicapping) but on those times when im clouded or feel im getting into a dry spell Ill usually copy a hot posters bet, case in point Imgv94 on his Steelers play. I dont post alot of my plays cause if i lose I dont want to take some friends down with me. However if and when I feel strong Ill post my Best Bets. i think if u look at that record Iv'e done all right.

I would say not. You still have to bet against the vig. The bettor still needs to suck enough (around 47%) for you to overcome your own juice. To truley bet the opposite of someone you need the opposite price and the only way to do that is to be his bookie. Otherwise, you will both lose like two people betting red and black on a roulette wheel. The house still has the greens.

    well said bill.

therefore the greatest value is in following Mr. RedHot, someone like IMG or Illusion or Razz, because those guys can beat the blacks and the greens.
