Calling does not make a book bad. Calling is one of, if not THE wisest use of marketing dollars and that's good business.

Now, whether or not you personally find it distasteful is another matter.

BookMaker might not offer the best bonus out of the three books you have mention ( Laserwager and BetUS ), but they sure are the safest one of out of the bunch.

Lets break these three books you mentioned down a bit more, and you will see why we Doug, Justin, and myself selected Bookmaker.


BetUS is extremely slow when it comes to payouts. The average wait to receive a check from this book is approx. 2-3 weeks. Another thing you need to know about them is that they are notorious for confiscating players funds. Now you know why they have that D- rating.



Laserwager is a rather new book on the scene these days, but not new to the offshore industry. This book opened up about roughly 2 months ago, and used to have ties with the now defunct SexyWagers. They might offer some very nice bonuses, and that one free ** payout per month is a nice perk. The one thing you do have to keep in mind is that they are still a new book, so we are still unsure of them.


BookMaker has been around since the 80's and they are top notch when it comes to the safety of a players funds. They might only offer a 20% signup bonus, but keep in mind that it's "safety" of your funds is what you need to focus on especially these days. They also offer one free payout a month if you acquire enough loyalty points.

youwager never had any problems with

bookmaker crsi dsi all the same and they are the one of the safest books in the world.

heritage cold calls never any problems although i dont play much as limits are cut

of the 3 listed sportsmonger i would go with bookmaker

Consider Matchbook,5Dimes,Greek,Jamaica. I'd take any of those before Bookmaker.

I think BetUs is terrible sportsmonger but I do really think bookmaker is a really solid business since they have been around since the 1980's. I don't know much about Lazerwager so I cannot comment on them. Good Luck but I would chose Bookmaker if I were on this list, I would really consider Bet Jamaica also, they have been great for me so far.

Thanks for your input guys.. I did a search on Lazerwager and i see few payout problems with them and a customer they apparantly stole some money from. Seems like a low class shop with no money to pay winners. BetUS also seems like a monster .......so I will stick with bookmaker.. going to deposit now thanks!

Lazer reported problem seemed false, I believe they have paid fine (so far), but tread carefully with new books.

i use bodog
they have casino and sportsbook and excellent customer service.
They had a Domain Name Problem which dropped them from the top 5 here, but I think that they will go back up.

The very first payout takes 2-3 weeks but after that my friend gets them all the time and says it takes him 7-10 days.

I was thinking of reloading somewhere else but might just stick with bodog.

I read bad things from those 3 you mentioned and would never trust them. There is a reason why they offer 50% new sign up bonus. I would look at bodog, matchbook, thegreek and betjaimaca if i were you.

BETUS is a straightforward shady. IMO, Can't you choose a better more reputable 3 ?? Just trying to help.
