The best is that fraud Sylvia Brown, who sat on Montell Williams telling the widow of a 9/11 firefighter that her husband drowned. The woman asked for details of how her husband died.
Same thing happened with a couple who wanted to know how their teenage daughter died. Sylvia instinctively said "she was shot". The parents corrected Sylvia and told her that her daughter had just collapsed and died, and was never shot. Sylvia insisted she was shot, then backtracked and said perhaps she was playing sports and was "struck" by a blunt instrument.
