SBR Bill Dozer reports: SportingbetUSA deducts $500 in winnings from customer account. The sportsbook claims the player bet a "bad line" (wrong odds that are the result of a line manager’s mistake) on Tiger Woods to win the British open, which took place a month earlier. Sportingbet has not made an effort to show the player how the line on Tiger Woods was an "obvious error" and has not followed their own rules which are stated below. SBR will continue to speak on the player’s behalf and expects management to justify their actions.

"Every effort will be made to ensure that all information available on the Internet site is accurate. However, if an error is made in the prices or conditions published on-line, we reserve the right to correct any mistakes and to settle any bets already laid at the correct price."

Yeah that "Obvious line error" rule can be dodgy. Different books have much different standards.

No way they should be making these corrections a month later though.

I have never had problems with that book, their payments were always quite reliable. Anyways, just my experience.

I've never had an issue with a bad line before. And I've definitely gotten some good prices on some of thier props. I'm not a fan of the bad line rule, but I'd be curious to know what the line was, and what they claim the line should have been.

They have made the SBR Recommended List twice briefely in 6 years. In Costa Rica they are known for their excellent training butthey are also the lowest paying book so employees dont stay. Books in Costa Rica love hiring them because they know they are getting a well trained employee. Its a problem for SportingbetUSA because they have severe turnover and that leads to uneven customer service.

SBR Bill Dozer reports: SportsbookUSA (SBR rating D-) and sister sportsbook, InterChamps (SBR rating D-), send payment to three players who have recently filed Slow-pay complaints. Although all players who have reported their issue to SBR have been paid in full, this is likely attributed to Futurebet’s policy to pay what they refer to as the "squeakiest wheels" get paid first. Players who are requesting payments of $1,000 or more without assistance are waiting at least one month and even then must receive installments.

There are sooo scammers out there. You have to feel for the player who is taking his rare payout and has to wait months just to get a dime or two.
