Lightbulb Accurate Top Sportbooks Rankings and Stats! Neat

    Hello everyone,

I had some free time and researched some sportbooks and found out what their rankings were on the web. Like For example Ebay, Amazon, and Half.com are in the top 10 like google, yahoo, and msn. So what I did I used SBR top picks and some random picks and here is what I found down below. Someone had a question who makes the most money, usually the higher ranking closest to 1 is the best and highest and 100,000 is lowest and not high in ranking. Higher ranking=more popular=Higher Money inflow=A good educate guess who is making the most money in the sportsbooks. These are Random Picks and are not in order. I only used 10 random Picks, some other sportsbooks could be higher or lower in rank. Here is what I complied.

    1). Pinnaclesports
Popular Rank #4038. Pretty good for all billions of websites out there.

    2). BETCRIS
Popular Rank #17,440. Not bad at all.

    3). BETJAMAICA
Popular Rank #64,136. I thought this should be higher. Regardless great sportsbook.

    4). VIPSPORT
    Popular Rank #18,161.

    5). BETWWWTS
Popular Rank #N/A Not sure why, if a rank is too far off it will not show me.

    6). Sportsbookreview.com
Popular Rank #17,886. Very nice rank.

    7). Betonsports.com
Popular Rank #15,789. Really weird chart.

    8). Bodog
Popular Rank#4,236. That is amazing rank I believe, all of the website out there.

    9). Sportbook.com
Popular Rank# 244,718 Figures with all the negative I hear from them.

    10). Sportsinteraction.com
Popular Rank #4,995. I am really suprise at this one even if this is my main sportsbook. I thought maybe 35,000 and was happy to see it was closer to one.

I hope everyone enjoyed this. If anyone wants me to research their online sportsbooks drop a message and let me know who you play with and I will look it up for you.

Were are you getting popularity data from? Alexa and other don't usually reflect sites popularity too well, especially in a niche industry, but still always interesting to look. Sportbook.com looked way too low, but then I noticed it WASN'T SportSBook.com which I was thinking of.

Alexa is what I used. How ever thats the only thing out there to give a good educated guess, regardless it was kinda fun finding out this info. If you know any other ranking system let me know since I cannot find nothing except Alexa.

theres were/are alot of search engines, that had shit books at the top of the search page. so, you really can't base rankings on that at all. I'll put my money on players personal experiences with books, instead of search engine rankings anyday.

    Alexa numbers are worthless.

Hitwise is the only service worthwhile. Shrink recently posted some hotwise graphs.

I just tried to use Hitwise, where are the rankings? I went further into it when I start seeing Iwon and Excite in some top ten list, where as I go to Alexa and see Amazon, Yahoo, Ebay, Google, and etc. It seems Alexa Rankings are better, I am sorry when I see okay average websites like Excite and IWON makes you wonder about Hitwise so I just quickly left.

    Hitwise is a pay service.

Alexa numbers are silly. Go look at wsex vs matchbook. There is no way matchbook is that close to wsex, yet it is on Alexa.

    http://www.metricsmarket.com

Is a slightly better(I think) source than Alexa but nothing compares to Hitwise...and at $5,000, it better be good.

Something is amiss with BetOnSports's numbers. Probably a DNS change or some kind of anti DDOS or who knows.

I justed used http://www.metricsmarket.com, Matchbook and Wsex have almost the same visitiors there. I looked at my prior random top 3 rankings Pinnacle, Bodog, sportinteraction all very close as I written eariler. To test sportbook.com show very low bad numbers as I had put up. I checked Alexa and Metric they have almost the same numbers. So two different website rankings have exactly the same results. Alexa by Popular rank and Metric by views last 30 days. Both show same numbers but by different ways. I sure if we do Hitwise the numbers will be the same.

That's my point. Matchbook should be a pittance of WSEX, but they have them close.

OK, lets figure out which books we want and I will beg Shrink to run us a report from Hitwise.

    For sure we want:
    BoDog
    SportsInteraction
    Sportsbook.com
    WSEX
    BetOnSports
    Pinnacle Sports

We need to limit it but what others?
