    Question www.sportsbook.com anyone has issues?

I convinced my friend to open up a online sportbook account and I kept telling him open it with www.sportsinteraction.com however he did not listen to me and opened it up with www.sportsbook.com. Later he put some money in and won couple hundred dollars during the superbook last year and when it was time to collect, they did a "issues with bank" lame story. They might have improved or not, I was wondering if anyone had the same issues with this sportsbook.com?

the SBR current rating on Sportsbook.com is a "D+"

this book always seems to have banking problems according to some posters for some reason, or another.

heres a problem a poster has made about there banking issues with this book, in the last 30 days.

Wow what some nasty replies thank you, great to read. I think my friend googled :sportbooks and the first thing he came across was probably sportsbook.com, what a shame he had to encounter something like this, now he does not want to play anymore. He has started to come around a little he keeps asking me about sportsinteraction and I do think he will do some bets before the super bowl after I show him this great site, sportsbookreviews. It is shame a rookie novice better like my friend got some fraudsters like sportsbook.com

datek23 - You are right that the customer service is certainly suspect and now they are having issues with not treating some players fairly. The vast majority of players will have no problem with them, but other sportsbooks have done far better of late.

I really haven't seen any major complaints lately, but they do have a checkered past I recommend players stay away from them.

from deposits, to withdrawals, to trying to find a good English speaking CS agent...these guys stink in all areas...all they have going for them is an aging Brooke Burke...

We were out watching a game here in Costa Rica when we ran into one of their managers, a scary guy who obviously had a high tolerance to pain evidenced by the amount metal objects protruding throughout his visible body. Anyway, he was nice enough to buy the SBR clan a beer but then he made I thought a telling remark. Basically he said; with a name like sportsbook.com we dont have to be good.

which is exactly the point here...they've been around for a while and have a "big name", but other than that they have nothing going for them...arrogance has brought them down close to an "F" book...

And you can say that about many companies in many diverse economic sectors. For that reason you'd rate them an F?

I give your rating system an F-.

I know the forums are only a very small part of gaming audience, but I amazed with some of the Sporting PLC recent decisions. Their reputation could certainly come back to hurt them if they don't start focusing on CS and doing the right thing for players in disputes.

    tacomax,

I have personal experience playing with these guys...they were the first online book I've ever played with...let's see, where do I start...their software had many glitches in it...the customer service reps couldn't speak english to save their lives...they had and still have full vig pricing...they have had numerous payout issues (myself included)...because they advertise a lot they are well known, but they are far from a well-run book...if this hits a nerve with you because you play with them, that's your issue...I wouldn't trust my money with this book however...

It doesn't hit a nerve because I play with them - I just think it's dumb to say the least to call them an F rated book. For all their faults, you can be pretty sure that your money is safe there (something I value infinately more than the state of their software or the CS clerks' ability to speak English) yet you're putting them in the same ratings area as QuakerCitySportsbook

Just let SBR concentrate on the ratings, you stick to your one-line posts and all will be well in the world again.

    tacomax,

I'll stick to picking winners, that's what I do...haven't seen a whole lot of winners posted by you in the football or basketball forums...I mean, we can discuss the industry all we want, but isn't the bottom line picking games that make us money?

I agree that quakerwhateverbook and sportsbook may not be in the same category...however, it's just as bad (or even worse) that sportsbook.com has the means to be a great book, yet they choose to continue to be a poorly run book...I just think it sucks to work your ass off to win money and sweat out all of the games, only to have problems getting paid by a book...go ahead and keep playing with these guys, that's your choice...but don't take it personally that sportsbook.com is a crappy book...

Amazing how it always seems to be the guys who don't play at a book who have the strongest opinions.

Keep those valuable opinions coming, non-players. :thumbs_up

halifax, maybe thats because they know better. when posters see complaints left and right, you can't ignore those either.

But the more players you have, the more complaints you're going to get in the public domain. Even John said that the ratio of complaints isn't any more than you'd see at similar rated books.

It's all about individual choice - I'm pretty sure that my money is safer there than most of the other C and even some of the B rated books. They're hardly the most best outfit out there but safety is the primary concern in the offshore world.

    dick dock,

you're just mad because in your 20 posts so far you've contributed zero to this forum...I am fine if you follow me around from post to post...it shows you don't have a whole lot of intellect...maybe you should give up sports gambling and start writing novels yourself?...

Its so easy to get under your skin.

So long as you make assinine posts (the 7 is worth less than 5c in cfb) I will continue to rail you.

I was perusing EOG a couple of nights ago and you mentioned you have a myspace page. How old are you? 13?

    Just curious.

    thanks buddybear...

dick dock needs a new joke book here, he keeps repeating the same material...his reference to the -105 deal is taken completely out of context as most of you that read already know (I had informed John to take the +7 -105 in the texas game because I felt like the hook (7.5) wasn't going to come into play in that game (which it didn't)...

    and I highly recommend myspace.com, it's a cool site...
