Their has been a story that I have read that 3 people used a laser at the roulette wheel with thier cell phone to easily predict where the ball will fall. It factor in the speed, wheel turn, and dealer force. It says three people wom 1.3 million pounds with device. Google:Roulette laser device, and a whole of articles will come up.

I was wondering what exactly did they use? How does someone build something like that? If anybody has any news or ideas or has a high degree of math and technical enginerring, please respond and let me know.

Read The Eudaemonic Pie. All about clocking the roulette wheel. I trained with such a device many years ago. They are illegal in most jurisdictions. There are legal ways to get a an edge in the physical casinos twice as great as card counting (a subject of which I know a little bit). it is a good topic ILL, but most people that know anything on this subject, will not really talk about it on a public forum.

people that are doing this type of stuff are very descrete on this type of stuff IMHOO

I tried to go to the casino last week and see the dealers patterns. But my eyes can't
focus on the numbers where the dealer drops the ball around, to see if where the ball is let go, near what number, dealer pattern, should be able to predict a good guess where it will land. If you focus on the wheel for several weeks, i am sure you can start seeing the drop and spin in slow motion since you have experience and trained your eyes to focus at every little detail. The numbers should repeat themselves if you keep a good tally for a couple months. I got several great ideas how to find better ways to foolproof this system. I will let you guys know my results.
