Default Bet Trojan Online Betting Ends For Some

Looks like over the weekend a number of players had their online betting privaleges at Trojan taken away. Another book that can't deal -05 even with 500 limits to everyone. I can't say I am surprised, but will miss it.

For about a month I had been on 500 online for everything, today that was taken away. Now is phone only and they call out to the stage and takes about 45 seconds to get a line.

yeap no surprise...first they blamed bonus and steam hunters for their bad business plan, and removed the signup bonus with the phrase "no more BS".
Than they did cut limits a lot.
Seems its all over now - the bullshit comes from Trojan not the players, those guys are just not rdy to give -105.

This must be the book AK was referring to. He said their was some possible bad news coming from another one of his advertisers.

I've been a loyal customer with Topcat long before they were rolled out Trojan.

Much to my dismay, I logged into my account today only to find $0 limits.
I proceeded to call them up to make a bet and have spent less time on hold with my bank than I did waiting for a number.

I will say that they pay quicker than most any book out there these days (even pinnacle at times) and have very good, English speaking clerks who are attentive.

This was one of my top 4 books up until today.

    What a shame.

It hink they need to reconsider where they advertise. IF they aren't prepared to offer lay 105 to semi shrp/sharp players, it's not really a good idea to be advetising in the forums.

Last time i spoke with Mike, he wanted to know what steps trogan needed to take to obtain a better SBR rating in the future. Well, As I tell every book out there i talk too, I have nothing to do with giving rating at all. but, a few things that are perty much common knowlage are:

    pay fast
    good lines
    good customer realations

Well, I guess Mike didn't listen what I said in our last conversation, if this is indeed true.

BBD, Mike pays fast, has good lines and is very cool to deal with. I don't know what is your problem here. Cutting limits is not a crime, there are much worse books doing this, all rated higher than Trojan.

I had two instances today where I called to bet something (NOT STEAM) and they simply moved the line and didnt honor what was showing as I was logged in.

If I want to bet CRIS/pin numbers I'll make the bet there. Looking up to see what other places are using before reading a line over the phone is crazy. Again, neither of thse plays were steam.

Read what you're using, not someone else.

I've had nothing but a 100% positive experience with this store up until today. If you're going to limit me to a phone betting at least read me the line you are using on that net at that moment.

cutting limits and making a internet customer phone in his bets = 2 different things.
Sure they pay, but there are several big low juice shops that dont care about what you bet. With a longer payout history than Trojan...
They might be still ok, Mike might be ok (but he cant control himself on the boards), but i dont think anyone really needs them with that stuff going on.

You're right. They should have cut the limits to $1 instead of $0.

i have no problems with Mike or Trogan at all. i'm just mearly telling everyone what we talked about was all.

Topcat has been around for a long time as a credit shop, and they do seem to be financialy stable from what i've read.

I had doubts about trojan before. Now I find them one of my favorite book. I made numerous withdraws and it's lightning fast. I would have to say faster than Pinny Neteller withdraws.

I haven't been cut by trojan yet, my average bet at trojan is around $50-$400.
But after hearing about limits being cut and phone wagering. I might not reup with them and just move on with other low juice books.

And why would you do that? It's doubtful you will be limited, and even if -- why put yourself out of the reach for those nice lines just now? What's the problem with moving on when your limits actually hit 0...

can a new book give reduce juice and make it? i dont think so... even Mansion had to switch it up.

i dont understand why a book gives reduced juice and then kicks out players or limits them. Thats like dumping chum in the ocean and getting scared when sharks come instead of dolphins.

In what way is Mansion not reduced juice anymore?

thats really funny on so many levels im going to borrow it occasionally.

i dont have a problem with trojan but they keep saying how well they are doing yet they are acting like they are in trouble which gives me enough reason to be careful with them

to deal -105 you need the sharpest line out there and volume and bettrojan doesnt have either.

    im pretty happy with:

    pinnacle -105
    cascade -105
    hollywood -107
    international island -107
    mansion (exchange -104)
    matchbook (exchange -103)
    skybook (free half point)
intertops (unique numbers nice reup bonus on tuesdays)
SIA (keep balance moderate and use rogue numbers to our advantage)
olympic (unique numbers occasionally and 11% reload once a month)

let trojan get established as a post up shop and see what kind of lines they will be dealing for baseball.

remember sharp books that dont have reup bonuses want action, action, and more action. they do not limit anyone who posts on these forums and tries to get in a nickel before the line moves.

again trojan is a solid C book who will most likely be a nice out in the future but if people are getting limited because they watch SBR Odds, then caution is only prudent.

Strong post Brooks. We might try to get Cascade on SBRLines. I would like to see them there so we will see.

Also, I have no problem with knowledgeable players hook into SIA because they dont panic when the payout is slow.

Trojan is simply too new. A new broom ususally sweeps good. This is not a joint where the typical guy should play at, at least not until they have a track record to measure.

    Brooks I like your list.

Also Guardian Guaranty (GGC) is a long time favorite of mine. They have been dealing -105 with 500 limits for several years without cutting limits.

it's perty clear to me that they probly will be dealing 20 cent lines for bases in 06. hell, everything seems to be pointing that way, and i don't have a problem with that at all.

trogan wants to aquire square action with low vig, (hell, who wouldn't want that) ... but will cut your limits if you show any signs of sharpness.

if your going to offer low vig, be prepaired for any and all types of players. because you are asking for trouble in advertising it that way.

Checking the line then moving it to your disadvantage after your wager request is really out of order. It's not down to players to do their job for them. I had good experiences there and a super-fast payment, but that's really trashy behaviour.

I was just looking for reduced juice books. And the list you have above looks perfect for me. :thumbs_up

Are they still giving you $500 at -105 ?

It now says on their website that the max is $250. I was going to switch over to the -105 if they had $500 limits, but with only $250 limits, I'm not so sure.

Does Guardian allow you to switch to the -105 plan?

Hali, i am playing at ExtremeLines.co.cr at the moment. They offer same -105, 500 limits and backed by tradewinds group plus gave me a 10% bonus so I could be wrong on GGC limit as I haven't played with them since I funed with Extreme over the summer.
