I am wondering if it is worth the 7 bucks a month. I hate waiting for scoring updates on college b-ball games that don't involve top 25 teams.

I have it. Sometimes it hangs up, but it also is ahead of the time delayed tv games at times. I really don't use it all that often. Hockey mostly.
Just think of it this way. Your not paying for the ESPN Insider, your paying for ESPN magazine. Because Insider is free when you sub to their magazine.

It's not worth it. Most of the games aren't even available in real time.

I would do the free trail and if you do decide, don't pay monthly, that adds up to 84 a year. They have annually (40 bucks, 3.33 a month) and Bi-annually (60 bucks, 2.50 a month).
Just don't look at it as a live scoreboard subscription, but a magazine and a open door to the crap they have inside the insider.![]()

The magazine sucks. I just throw it away when I get it in the mail. It's only a few bucks a month, but I got it last year because I thought every college bball game was available in real time. However, only the more prominent games are - some don't update at all and others are like an hour behind. For instance, I had action on the SE Miss St/Coppin St. game today. The real time showed 29-24 with like 9 min. left in the first half when the game was already well into the 2nd half.

You get 2 magazines a month for 3 bucks, plus all the online stuff. Not bad.
But like I said above, I hardly use it. But do look at the magazine when it comes, suck or not.

It is great, it is only real time score service out there where game clock moves live. For the small price it is worth it.
