Default Durito v Robzilla Bet

I have bet Robzilla that he cannot got 60% over 50 picks.

The bet is for $20 and I am offering 3/1 odds. I don't need you to post up any money. I will pay you via paypal if you win the same day your 30th bet wins.

You get 30 or more wins you win, 29 or less I win.

Your picks must be posted in this thread before the game starts. No editing your posts afterwards.

You can bet sides, totals, halves, quarters.

All picks must be point spread plays and you can't lay more than -115.

You must use a line that is available at the time of your post at one of the books on sbrlines. (no, i bet team x at -5 this morning when the line is -7 now)

If you agree to these terms, start picking and good luck.

Raiders has offered this bet for as much as Robzilla wants. I'll offer it for much higher as well. He picked $20. I could care less about the money, just doing it for amusement.

Well we shouldn't expect a pro who hits 75% and occasionally goes 16-0 to pony up more than $20.

Because its easy money for you.

Picking 75% winners you should win 37 games and cover your side easy. On top of winning on your plays you would also make a bonus of your liking. Why for something so easy would you only want to make 20?

You can't win Durito.

When he goes 3-7 on his first 10 bets he will just quit posting.

Wait a minute...that would mean we ALL win

I'm on UNC as well tomorrow, so I hope you start off a winner. (i have -14 though)

edit: i'm talking football, and im assuming your pick is basketball tonight, as football is at -15.5

Maybe you should list rotation number with your selections. So there is no confusion.

Let's try and keep this civil. It's a legitimate bet, and I will track it as such.

I'd make another pick so that if you lose one you can still hit at 75%. Right now you lose one and your "only" at 66%.

This should be fun.

Hitting 60% is very tough, even with a small sample size. Durito should definitely win this bet.

Yep, only $20 but Durito made himself some money. I say only $20 but who wouldn't bend over and pick one up if it was laying in the street? I'd dodge traffic to pick up a quarter let alone chase down a $20 dollar bill, LOL, most aren't as cheap as I am though.

BTW this thing is not over, not even close, dude is known to go 16-0 on Sunday!! Doubt Durito will sleep much until Monday comes knowing how dangerous his opponent is with the NFL. Good luck to both sides.

I'll just point out that a player "only" needs to be a 54.23% picker in order for a bet at 3:1 odds on 60% over 50 games to be a breakeven proposition expectation-wise.

Given the propensity of a certain style of book to offer dual lines, typically hanging on SBR Lines (which I assume will act as finale arbiter) that set most advantageous to dog players, I'm confident that solely through patient and judicious line-shopping (i.e., without performing any handicapping whatsoever) a player could transform this into a +EV wager (or at least very close to that).

Most certainly. But, Robzilla claims to have a 75% long term winning percentage. As such, I'm quite certain he won't understand a single thing you have written.

I know both guys want to make some coin, but one thing I think should happen is both of these guys sit down and make sure this is a bet they can live with. I know all of us want to be entertained, but if this kind of bet is going to alter their living styles or cut into their rent money they ought to back out of it.

Im sure Raiders would be willing to offer you a similar version of this bet for as many thousands of $ as you want.

This bet isn´t about money.
