Anyone Interested in Soccer/Football
I know that coming from a Central American Country ... soccer is the most popular game ... however ... it is considered the most popular game in the world ... while in the US for the last 10 yrs it has begun to increase its interest tremendously ... what do you guys think and have you ever wagered in a game of soccer?
Love to see what you guys have to say on it ... and why not ... is there any profit in betting on it ?

Soccer wagering is tough, so many games fixed because most of these guys do not get paid much and will do anything to money and many players connected to drug lords, ect.

Soccer is tough to fix. It probably goes on in some minor euro leagues occasionally, but thats about it.

Interesting comments guys ... it is hard to determine the outcome of a game ... Big factor is how mentally prepared a team is ... reason I say this is due tot the fact of what exactly is in stake .... world cup qualifying game? or a simple friendly match ... and you then have to determine what the starting line up is and see if theres any newbies within the squad and what exactly are they looking for ... a simple tie or the whole 9 yards ... many teams when on road look for a tie and wait the rematch for a win ... many things to determine.

Are there any good cappers posting soccer picks, on any boards? There's a lot of activity on Rx, but I have no idea whether they're any good.

every year i hear somebody say that soccer is catching on in usa, that it's the biggest world sport and will someday be so here as well. I just don't see it happening here. sometimes teams will get a very popular world player , but it seems that they are always at the end of their carreers or that their abilities are on the decline. I see soccer becoming big here only if immigration continues at high levels.

They don't want to lose the endorsement money, that's why they don't come to US when they are at their prime.

its on dry ice, pre cooked, you just reheat it in the oven and you are good to go. I've done it more than once, basically the same as fresh out of their oven. Isn't technology amazing?

Have you ever seen your National Team Play?? 90% of your guys play in Europe ... the market yet is not as competitive than Europe, where you have UEFA / Champions, etc.
Also, according to an article I read some months ago ... the MLS reported over 1.3 million kids registered in minor leagues ... regardless if theres immigration or not ... Soccer will become the number 1 sport in the US ... and thats a fact

Id like to oppose a bet on soccer becoming more popular than any of the big 3 in the U.S, never mind taking the number 1 spot . Not in our lifetimes shark.

soccer is good, best sports all around and ya there is money to be made on it, i bet croatia to beat england +675 for euro 2008 qualifiers, very good return there. the thing with soccer is the draw. it's a killer sometimes.
