Default Please welcome me to the league

Ladies and gentleman let me introduce myself. I am a 20 year sports gambling veteran and a resident of the great city of Las Vegas, Nevada. I stumbled upon this forum while googling the term sports forums and so far I have been pleased with the diversity of the posters on here. You have a range of skill levels from the pro posters like JJ Gold, Big Boy Dan and Mud cat all the way down to the beginners like Onlooker and Buddy bear. I am happy to have this opportunity to teach you all about sports gambling and money management with my vast expertise in the field. I have made hundreds of thousands, if not a million dollars gambling on sports, and maybe one day you people can also have a chance to become one of my students. The first thread I happened to view was buddy bears post on his 25 unit bet on Michigan in the Michigan-OSU game , ouch, I have a lot to teach you boy and I am just getting started. I will be posting a large amount of highly informative, educated views on sports gambling. So Buddy Bear and others in this league who are not doing so well, please feel free to message me any questions you have, this is my hobby and I like to share my wealth of knowledge.

Not the sharpest way to start, refering to 2 veteran posters as beginners?

    You think?

I assure you I am not an "alias" buddy. Let me give you some advice from a grizzled pro, when someone like me comes by to criticize you, take it constructively. Fact is you messed up big time betting so much on Michigan. When you lose, buddy, you don't come back with all types of excuses saying " Henne was stubborn to play" and " I am still up for the year" because in the real Las Vegas world we will laugh your ass right out of the casino. In order to further your education, I am going to give you the first bit of advice that you sorely need for the rest of the season, and that should be obvious to even the most amature of bettors, but im not sure about you. That piece of advice is continue betting one unit, do not make a big bet to try to win it all back, which is something I can picture a degenerate like you doing. Remember, this isn't personal, I have come to save this forum and help you all win some moneyyyyyyy.

Good day sir. Could you begin by proving your record? It seems a common plague amongst this forum is the trend of posters having more bark than bite.

Can we get your take on tomorrow nights game?

you want to bet against denver because they are 2-7 ATS this year?

teams that do badly ATS in the first half of the season, are actually good bets the rest of the year (the lines adjust too much).

the broncos also have a long history of playing well at home versus winning teams -- especially as a small favorite or dog. (26-6-1 ATS at -2 or better)

I don't think it's a good enough play to bet, but I'm leaning Denver.

I'm betting on a short between the keyboard and the operators. Either that or they're leaving their caps lock key ON and vBulletin will try and prevent 'shouting' by not allowing consecutive caps at times.

If it was the software here, iT woulD screW witH everyone'S postS. That's My Story And I'm Sticking To It

    Hey John. Welcome.

Please provide your reasoning with your picks. "Put one unit on Denver-2. You like that kid? Keep it." That doesn't do much for me.

Also, please keep the self promotion to a minimum, at least until we can see a month or two of results.

    Thank you.

I've never seen anyone pour it on a veteran poster right off the bat like he has with Buddy Bear. He really seems to have an agenda with him.

I'll be monitoring your picks the next couple of weeks Mr. Layfield. GL...cheers:

Are you "John Layfield" the star Abilene Christian University offensive lineman, and later professional wrestler, and stock picker, and financial advisor, and author, and politician? Wow. It appears that you have a lot of interests other than handicapping football games.

That's pretty cool, though, that you have your own wikipedia entry:

I don't know how to feel. It's nice to be recognized as a pro I suppose. But putting me with this group is kind of like saying I'm a skilled, pro musician - like Paris Hilton.
