    Default OT:Do you play scratchers??

    I know we got some gamblers in the house and I was wondering if any of you buy scratchers. I tend to buy around $20 worth in scratchers a week and the most I have won is about $25. Im down -$200+ on these little fukn scratchers.

    When I was a heavy smoker I used to buy them all the time with my cigarettes. They were right on the counter in the deli I'd go to so it became routine.

    i hate scratch-offs, years ago the average on them here in KY was like 3 to 1, sometimes there was 2.8 to 1, now the averages are like 4.9,5.1 to 1. and they use to have alot of $1 and $2, now they have a bunch of $10 and $20 dollar ones. i used to play them in the early 90's, the most i won once was $60, and i went to a church picnic and went on a helluva run on 5 card stud, then hit a king-of-the-mountain pull-tab for $200, then went to midnight bingo drunk and kept yelling "BINGO", on cover-alls and diamonds, i thought i was playing regular bingo, people asked me to leave. damn, that was a fun night, now that i look back.

    back to scratch-offs, an old friend hit a $2000 a week for a year one, back in the mid 90's, i think he said when he went to the main office to cash it, they payed him like 73 grand after taxes.

    I used to purchase about $300 a week in tickets but quit after I realized it is a can't win prop.

    i went to high school with a kid that won 25,000 off one. He threw a huge party and bought an IROC. for 1 week he was the coolest kid in school.

    Never play scratchers. Can't bring myself to play a game with pre determined outcomes.

    i get em for others at x-mas. santa is a lousy gambler apparently he has no connections with the controller of winning scratch-its. usually get the crossword kind they seem to last a little longer.

    Like idontlikerocks, I only buy them as christmas presents. I play the Mega-Millions, but just can't do scratchers. It doesn't give me that fix like betting on games does

    I just hit up eBay right now and bought some FAKE winning scrathers. Im putting these little fukrs in my girlfriends stockings this year to get some fukn kicks. Im a hella tipsy right now and had nothing better to do since my gf is not putting out. Bitch. .

    bought one in texas and won 1000.. Here in georgia they have the 20 dollars ones. I bought 12 at one time and didnt win a thing. my wife bought a dollar one and won 400, so i quit and havent bought one since.
