I know they have a questionable history, but is anyone currently playing there? How dependable are they for payouts?
Thanks.

Past stiff jobs among other low down dirty tricks that BetOnSports has pulled on their players is enough to keep me away.

BAUS,
Great lines. high online limits, fast payouts. The only downside is that the bonus is a free play taht can't be used on any positive ml's. My suggestion is doing a 3-team parlay on games that don't have overlapping times.

BAUS, are you really considering playing here ?

Yes indeed, and plenty of them too at some great prices.Originally Posted by marc

Nice, well planned-out site as well. For the 'arbers' out there BetOnSports' prices are constantly being picked-up by BetBrain's SureBets and one really nice thing, easy navigation makes it possible to fund your account and wager in under 60-seconds.
Keep up the good work BetOnSports!![]()

Danny, 20% unlimited is a nice offer. IMO, they have a rocky history, but have only stiffed one player, the BW beard. So even though I may be supporting an "evil" book by playing there, I doubt I would get stiffed.
Haven't posted up yet, still considering other options first.

BAUS, BetOnSports has STIFFED many people. The $500,000 stiff gets alot of play but the other people have complained at The RX of being robbed at BOS. Its the reason BOS was run off the site and listed as a "NO PAY" sportsbook by the owner himself.
Whats hilarious is when The RX was sold and the new owner brought on BOS as a premiere advertiser, The RX still had BetOnSports as a "NO PAY" sportsbook!!

Yea, I remember the day when they were "platinum" and "no pay" at the same time....what a joke.
I was only aware of the beard being stiffed. Who were the other players stiffed, and what were the circumstances?

had a problem trying to get paid about 4 years ago (them along with sportsbook.com were my first books)...I have read that they have new management now, but they need to do a lot of work to repair BOS's image...

BAUS, Many stiff jobs leading up to the RX poster "craig" who hit a 6-team baseball parlay at BOS that netted him $35,000+. The winnings went right into his account. A few days later he requested a WD, thats when the problems started. BOS refused to pay him.
After numerous posts, with the SHRINK getting involved, BOS agreed to pay half. That did not go over very well with the posting community. So the BOS owner invited craig to Costa Rica to get the rest of his money. When craig entered the offices of BOS in CR, the owner polishing his guns with his thugs surrounding him told craig he was not going to get any of his money.
And this is the place you want to send your money? I don't care if they are now a publicly traded co. Over at The RX they like to say "New management". What a crock. I think they are a house of cards.

RX promotes several books that are average at BEST...
BoS is a shit book for me, and the 20% freeplay is crap cause you cant wager it at ML dogs there.
20% cash might be worth it, but i would only play small there...

baus, did you end up posting up with this book or no ?

Baus, i know i'm not you but, being the type of player you are. i would consider other outs, strictly based on there past history.

Going back to 2000, BOS used to host Richmond Hill, who in turn was associated with crooked Tej and co. When R.H. couldn't pay me, BOS denied any liability or responsibilty whatsoever. That is when I received the bailout offer from Pyramid, and thought, at the time, they were heaven sent. Liitle did I know, Tej and Co. aka Pyramid was working with all of them. When I won, the nightmare continued! Rules changes, no payouts, increased roll, etc.
Not saying that is the case now, but that is the way it was.

Baus,
I would steer clear of these guys until further notice...

carryback that sounds like a nightmare situation. Having to go through it two books in a row is just horrible.Originally Posted by carryback

BAUS,
I would grab that 20% cash. It's just so easy to roll your money there. I could be wrong, but I don't think there have been any issues since the new management took over.

That's a pretty good story. I'm gonna deposit and just hope to get the similar treatment. Must be a lot of fun and is probably worth losing the balance. :jump:Originally Posted by Chuck Sims

I was surprised craig went down to Costa Rica in an attempt to collect his money from the stiff book BetOnSports. We all told him at The RX not to go.
