Once upon a time in my younger and considerably crazier halcyon days I must admit I went the DXM (dextromethorphan) route several times.

6-8oz. of Robitussin DM (the kind without either pseudoephedrine or acetaminophen -- both of which can be quite harmful at the imbibed dosages -- guaifenesin, however is OK) is definitely a serious trip. There are also apparently ways where one can distill DXM, making it more palatable to drink.

Well drugs are an everyday part of our lives.. Drugs are even in our foods... You experience a high in a sense when you eat certain foods..you just don't know it...

I believe a chemical is added to give it an addictive property... This chemical was discovered in the mid 1960's when researchers wanted to experiment on FAT mice.. Well mice are not fat so they added this chemical which gave their foods an addictive property... They got FAT mice.. Now that it's been added to our food they got FAT people... It's amazing how FAT society in the US has become in the last 25 years... Biggie size this and biggie size that...

By the way anyone want to take a guess at what this chemical is...?

I notice it effects me when I am eating a combo meal... I will eat those FAST even if I am getting full... like I feel the need to eat every bite...

jj, santos, thanks. i just want to live a life without regrets, but thinking about freaking out after a snow binge taught me an important lesson. you know how those assholes who come close to near death experience and become a better person (like car crash, drowning, etc). i am not saying i am a better person now, in fact i think more poeple calling me an asshole now than before, but that near death experience really taught me something...if i want to binge on drugs, i better find a drug that has no way of overdozing...that is why i am only sticking to smoking right now.

Soda is another product that it's in... That one is REALLLY obvious... If you drink a Coke it will not only dehydrate you but you will get constant cravings to drink more... This is exactly what you did when you spouted easily disprovable information about Coca Cola, you are just repeating from different media. Why not take four days to see if Coke will dissolve a nail? Guess what, it won't. Why not do a little research to find out if it's more acidic in your stomach than in a can of Coke. It is.
