    Generally I think that waaaaaaay too much is made out of a quarterback's race, but I can't help but notice that this guy seems to be coasting along as the ex #1 pick with very little media criticism and looking absolutely HORRIBLE all the time.

    Meanwhile even on weeks when Tennessee wins ugly (not this week, but in recent weeks), Vince Young comes under a microscope for his performance.

    Is it just me?

    I wouldn't say he's coasting along, to be fair he's not the only problem over there. Whereas in Tennessee everything is pretty solid, and the one thing that really needs much more production is Vince Young. I think guys would be just as hard on Alex if he was in a good system, just like they were with Rex Grossman.

    Tonight was the first time the Guests in the booth added to the game!!!! Terrible game to watch, hasleback wasn't very good either!

    Smith is awful, but Tennessee/Young gets more attention because they have a good overall team/excellent coach. Niners have neither. I also think Young gets more attention because he plays the position unlike most QB's.

    Black QB's are held to a higher standard. Race is a factor whether or not we want to admit it. Smith is absolutely horrible...hard to believe he was a 1st round draft pick. Now everyone knows how bad this guy is.
