Default Has any person actually been changed under this gaming law?

Has anyone actually been charged under this law?

I mean smoking weed is illegal in canada, but when i was in Vancouver everyone outside starbucks had a joint in thier hands with a cop standing right there.

there are laws that are enforced and not enforced. If no one is getting charged than who gives a ****. Sports books...let americans bet... what's the worst that can happen to you?

Where has the courage to stand up the the government gone?

You people are to weak to stand up for your rights anymore. Some of you have parents or grandparent that faught off the Germans, but you cant even say No to someone. Following a law means you agree with it. Make your voice heard and dont follow it. Stop being a bitch to your master!

The new law isn't for gamblers, it's for banks.

They tend to try and follow laws.

**** tha banks! If its just for banks, then why are the website following it? They dont even run out of America. And if the people that run the sites are from America they should boycott the US and stay in whatever country they are in.

The sportsbooks tend to need banks to process ************ etc. You seem to forget that. The banks control the flow of money to/from almost every country. That is something you can't get around.

Is that why Al Queda one of the most funded groups anywhere? They get money tranfers from banks, but that doesnt seem to be a problem.

BkofAma doesnt process shit from canada europe or mexico. Institutions responsible for methods of payment are only responsible for that, not how and when a client wants to spend thier own money.

What country are you from Rob?

The only reason I ask is that judging from your posts you're non-american. If that's the case why are you always bashing America or care what our laws are?

Yes the internet gambling law sucks but it's not like it's really stopping anything.

It crippled transfers of money that in turn hurt most books.

Bulls**t shit - US actions against Neteller in turn caused Neteller to stop transacting with online books/casinos on behlaf of Canadian players. There are plenty of us pissed about that. Sure there are opther options, but none as widely accepted as Neteller was.
