Not knowing much about BJO, and assuming -110 on straights, 600k in action would lead to a $30,000 loss for the average player (Curious' entire balance)--worse for multi-team parlay and teaser players. So while I was being glib with the 2011 date of completion, odds are he'll zero out or have little left after RO, whenever this is met...IMO. This is BJO's expectation as well.

Part of it is simple optimism (or call it wishful thinking): I play a lot of the same picks as Curious, so I certainly hope he kicks BJO's butt. But I do believe, optimism aside, that he'll be ahead.

Those -103 lines sound so tempting -- I wish there were an easy way for me to deposit (a little) there. I have deposited only with ************ (at eight books), but the ability to do that has dried up in the last month. Demoralizing -- ************ (from major US banks) that worked a couple months ago no longer do. I don't have easy access to cash right now, nor in fact to money at all (just invested pretty much everything in some other stuff), so until that changes or the cards start working again (fingers crossed), you guys will have to kill BJO without me...

You could say that about every deposit at every book. If you bet it, it eventually goes away.

I don't think there is a player at BJO who was just about to quit gambling before SBG stiffed them. If BJO comes through and players were to bet the same way they did at SBG, they would lose less or make more with the reduced juice and big exotic bet payouts.

BD: I agree that what BJO is doing is wonderful, and it doesn't excuse what SBG did. I'm just trying to be realistic about what might be left after this huge rollover. And unlike a typical 3x or 5x rollover, it's hard to be selective (emphasis on quantity of plays rather than quality) when you're anxious to collect money that you should've been free to withdraw in the first place. That said, I wish BJO or anyone else offered a bailout for the numerous SB.com victims.

You got it right. I admit that I started betting offshore recently and was paying a handicap service. I paid the service from the winnings from the account. I built the account from 1k to 8k+ when SBG decided to STEAL my money. Before, I could QUIT at any time or LOWERER my bets to anything I wanted. While I thank BJO for the bailout without deposit, it is still not a gift. Betting $165k in action is much more then I am used to playing. I am playing more games the usual and trying to spread out the $$$$ across more games to eat away at the rollover requirement. So, while I might not have quit, I had the OPTION to do so. Now, all I can do is try to continue doing what I have been doing and eat away at the rollover. At my current pace, it will take about another 16 weeks. At the end.....keep my fingers crossed that BJO will payout. If so, they will be getting a lot of free publicity from me as well as my future business.
