    Default pinnacle limits

I just joined pinnacle. I see their NFL spread limits are $30,000, but their NCAA Basketball totals are only $500. Quite a difference. Am I looking at something wrong? Are you able to make multible limit wagers at pinnacle, and if so how does that work? Thank you for any help guys.

Thanks Illusion. So for example I can make 10 $500 bets if I wanted. Sorry, I'm new to all this. Been using a local.

If the software allows it, then yes. I never make more than two at a time however.

No, you can't make 10 max bets at the same line.

You could, if they didn't change the line on you, but after your first max bet, the line will move. At that point, you can bet again at the new (worse) line if you want to.

halifax is correct, last time i put the max on a tennis match, the line dropped 40 cents, and it wasn't worth re-betting it at the new price

ok. let me see if I understand. After I make a max bet, pinnacle will allow me to make another max bet but at different lines? And these new lines are just for me and nobody else? Hope that isn't a stupid question.

If you make a max bet the line will change for everyone.

Oh. So for example. Say if I bet the max $500 on the total of a Duke game. Does that mean if I bet over 140, that will move the total to 140.5? Or does that just sometimes happen? Sorry, I'm kinda slow.

It may not move the total, but will move the vig for sure. Instead of -105 the vig may bump to -112

thats weird I have been with pinnacle and always have weird limits like 714.29 and 357.14. I thought they started everyone with these limits and not the lower even number limits

rm, it seems quite arbitrary whether players have the higher limits or not. Not that the limits are that much different. They are some square root of 2 times the original ones.
