I’m going to post an NBA pick and some reasoning about it most days, and I’m going to track myself. I love to bet NBA dogs because I think someone who follows the League can get a sense of when a good team might have an off night. When I don’t have a dog I’ll usually go with a gimmick play. All plays are one unit.

I know there are a lot of good minds at this forum and so I invite before-the-result dialogue and criticism of my reasoning. Take me apart and maybe we can learn something from each other.

adriano...I hope you will start your thread with pick reasons...I've had it in mind for a while too cause it seemed a good way to get feedback...like if someone says "yeah but did you know there 1-5 ATS in back-to-backs" or whatever...my only worry is that betting big dogs like I do I'll go 0-12 and look like an idiot...still good discipline to track yourself and state why you think it's an advantage play...so jump in the waters deep.

Sounds good Bookie. I encourage more members to do the same thing, so we can see as many views on the games as possible. Start their own threads with their plays and views, then throw their best picks of their plays in the seperate Best Bets threads.

Onlooker...long term wouldn't it be cool if SBR got some software sort of like wagerline.com where members could put their picks in and get tracked automatically over a certain time, and then in a forum part say why...would make it real easy to have contests and might draw traffic to SBR as a place where serious handicappers meet and argue as well as come for the best damn offshore sports book info.
