    Default OT: The dark side of amazon.com

    Do any of you shop regularly here? Their software is pure evil - once you buy or rate about 10 things, it gets in your head, and makes you buy more things you want.

    I made the mistake of buying the Xena collection. After that, I was forced to buy Cleopatra 2525 and Jack of all trades... Just a few clicks, and bam! It's on your CC.

    They also have a membership option called Amazon Prime, where I think for $70 a year any time you buy something from their warehouse you get free three day shipping or $1.99 overnight or something like that.
