    Default Need help with some questions

    1. Is it illegal for me to place an internet bet according to the new law. Or is it illegal for the sportbook's to accept my money?
    2. What does everyone think the chances are of the FEDs cutting off ** and **, method of withdrawels.

    what is the "express money transfer" option for withdrawal? is that just another term for **/**?

    The federal IUGEA law passed is really there to convict owners and operators of the offshore books. The feds are not interested in arresting US depositors unless they are laundering money, running a bookie service through an offshore book or evading significant gambling taxes.

    All this law has done is make it harder for US accounts to deposit and obtain payouts.

    As of now, the regulations regarding the IUGEA proposed by the Treasury are full of loopholes and are not enforceable. The WTO has fined the US Govt. a billion (?) dollars in response to the IUGEA.

    I cannot see the Feds being able to cutoff ** and ** for now; however, the safest thing for any US depositor to do is only keep an amount of money in an offshore book that is considered expendable if the whole thing shuts down tomorrow.
