    Currency traders have watched the Canadian dollar rise to nearly even with the US dollar recently.

    Nearly even? My dollar currently buys 1.05 of yours.

    It's not all rosy though, since my USD Matchbook account was funded back when I had to pay CAD$1.15 for $1 USD. Canucks playing at Matchbook have to beat the vig AND the falling US dollar.

    That was my fault, Matt. I wrote that blurb and read the exchange rate backwards this morning. Thanks for the heads up.

    I'll still take the approximate $2.70 (US) per gallon I'm paying at the pump right now over the $3.70 (CAN) my buddy is paying up in Red Deer
