John I'm referring to all of Calvin's past business stiffings up in British Columbia (for which he still faces some serious trouble). The guy with the problem above is one of the few no-pays of which I'm familiar, with virtually everyone continuing to wait longer on withdrawals even now than say with a Greek or Matchbook. He still owes a fair amount of money to a number of business partners he has stiffed in the past. Human resources 101 tells you that the best indicator of future behaviour is past behaviour. He may be a billionaire now, but I still believe that if the day comes that his business his looking unprofitable, he'll take everyone's money and run again. I don't care if it's for $5 or $5000, if someone is willing to steal from someone else we've got a problem.
There are two things, however, that I will give Calvin and Bodog which were absolutely genius and key to their success. #1) Calvin is a brilliant self-promoter, and has marketed bodog very, very well. Also, #2) Bodog's dual lines from the onset were absolutely brilliant, particularly padding points and a -115 to sides and totals that they projected customers would take.
This business is all about money, but I do believe you are peerless when it comes to accurate information and player protection in general. Bodog would be the most glaring exception in my opinion (granted others will no doubt say Cascade)....
