We have tons of scams with Sportsbook.com and SBG and Cascade, WorldGaming and slow pays at BetUS and not a word from Roberto?
I know he had some real tough family issues a while back. Hope he is ok. Anyone know if he's ok? Kind of miss the chap.

Dear John,
As you certainly recall I did mention how challenging this 2007 has been for me.
I lost a son in April, probably to most trying event someone may ever have to go through.
I then started having some serious health issues that have kept me on the sidelines for a while.
I got back yesterday (Monday) from a series of medical treatments which have managed to fix me up a little bit (at least it looks that way).
There are lots of issues on the plate and I'd add Premierbet to your shortlist as well.
I was actually working on that before I had to take off for treatments.
I also managed to speak to Royal yeasterday about the case you mentioned and learned that they are in the process of refunding initial deposits.
I haven't had access to their side of the story (yet) therefore haven't had the change to make an assessment yet.
Per sportsbook.com I have a couple of disputes I was inverstigating before the last "break" and should be able to follow up this week.
There's definitely alot to do out there...hope to be able to catch up with everything before the end of the week.
Cheers,
Roberto

Rob just an fyi-
You got Royal and SBG rated 7. They are robbing players.
You got Sportsbook.com rated 7, they are also robbing people.
Not a big deal but you have books like Superbook and Hollywood rated a 2, which is accurate. But you have their owner, sportsbook.com, rated a 7. They wouldnt of happened to have bought a banner on Tow??Who loves you?!

John,
This is what I wrote about SBG and Royal on 7/24/07:
http://www.theonlinewire.com/articleView.aspx?ID=2962The Bad - Sports Betting
SBG Global - They have been slightly improving lately but SBG is still very reluctant to cooperate in the settlement of players’ dispute. Probably a decent choice for small recreational players but a possible mine field for seasoned and larger players.
Pros: fast payouts, good wagering menu, adequate betting limits.
Cons: reputation has lots of room for improvement, uncooperative with dispute resolution negotiations, scattered cases of rules changed on the go (always to players' disadvantage).
Royal Sports - Recently purchased by SBG Global (see notes above)
BTW - you still have PlatinumSB at C- ...that's the guy (Crazy Ali) that got thrown in jail for murdering one of his clerks and the book is under investigation for money laundering.....maybe a downgrade to F could be considered...
http://www.theonlinewire.com/articleView.aspx?ID=2965
p.s. this is the same dude that tried to contact me through your guys in CR because of my initial report on him (
http://www.theonlinewire.com/articleView.aspx?ID=354) and eventually threatened to kill me at the CRIS fights in April 2006...
as per my ratings.... there are some inconsistencies within families of books. This is because the eternal process of migrating data from the old web manager to the new web manager hasn't reached completion yet. It should finally be done this week.

True that. You imediately put your "bulldogs" at my disposal after I mentioned the unpleasant encounter....
I'm just starting to realize how much you missed me...however we should keep our "affair" as private as possible or Mudcat could go berserk on you![]()

I did miss you. Its true. Guys around the sportsbook circuit ask me what the hell happened to whats his name?
Would love to see you help collect for these sportsbook.com and SBG victims. Cascade too. You are good at that.

Not saying the ones you are mentioning aren't priorities but I'm trying to get something done on Premierbet first (hopefully this week).
I will certainly follow up on other cases as well, just give me a few days.
On the Cascade side we may try to arrange some "cherry-picked" bailouts, honestly the only way I see to get something for players.
We've done some good things in the past when we worked together or assisting players, nothing says history can't repeat itself...

I use to like the way Roberto would get money for players. This guy was a real life thug, he literally busted down doors with some sort of group he ran with and of course took his cut but got many guys paid over $355,000 through the years. Was it legal what he did?? No.....did he shoot people or did his boys shoot people?? Yes . I am pretty sure the absence of Roberto was due to doing time for this type of activity. I guess in a way he was a bounty collector kind of old school.
I might have to make a video of this, he is a fukkin throwback to the 20's and 30's.
Anyway sorry for your loss Ace and I hope your on the road ro recovery in all apsects of your life.
Ps: Boys if you are owed money I would use Roberto because he uses old school methods that are not really legal but will get your money for a small cut which is well worth it.

I know a guy that was owed $14,000 from Royal and Roberto came home with it in cash and payed the player himself.

Sorry about your son as well, Roberto.

Roberto probably got more money returned to players than anyone else ever
SBR Founder Join Date: 7/20/2005
Raiders what does Roberto charge to get money back to a player from a stiff book? How much does he want per $1000?
Back to a somber note.............Losing a Son has to be devastating, I hate hearing news like this.
Roberto hang in there Pal.
