Default Giving Opposite Picks To Two Different Sites

JJGold I've finally figured out what it is that you're up to. You come on here and talk about how you like your home state boys Rutgers, and then go on the RX and say that you're betting USF for ten thousand dollars. http://www.therxforum.com/showthread.php?t=522024

You are on there for touting purposes old buddy, old pal. Nothing more, nothing less. I'm sorry to blow your cover, but you're already down $56K at the RX according to your listed bets, so the odds are you're not going to get any business over there now anyways.

You might want to re-assess your goals and the way you're going about them, as your internet credibility seems to be going down by the day across the entire handicapping community...

Isn't this the same person who said that all "touts" are liars because they give out both sides of the same game?

Similar to people who have no real lives so they hide on the Internet like cowards. These people also don't-know-how-to-use hyphens as well.

Real or fake, at least JJ bets.

My point was that Tacomax, a poster who continually harasses other people, isn't even a gambler yet he is a member of SBR.

People are allowed to change their minds about a bet.

JJ is a joke. All his posts are crap. This I figured out as soon as I read his first post. You guys need to let him do his thing and know that it is meaningless. Keep the shit coming JJ.

Everyone has a right to change their mind on a bet. My problem is when a guy starts two threads at two different forums and touts opposite sides. It's unethical and reeks of payola.

If he ever does, half his customers will get one side, and the other half the other. As I say, there's a certain smell to this. I don't have to see shit to know it's there.

JJ Gold, you are officially on the hot seat.

I really don't think this is a big deal. Don't the majority of people out here make their own picks anyhow? Is Gold like a mini Bob? People are clamoring to get his daily release? Come on now.

Anyone who bets based on ifnormation from this forum deserves what they get. You can't believe the information or take it for any more than its worth. Just look at this forum as entertainment. I've never taken 1 bet from it.

Wish you were a "closet handicapper". By touting both sides of the same game, it would appear that you are the one that "swings both ways".

It seems SBR has a problem with posters (Tacomax) becoming obsessed with other members. I agree with the gay comment because there is no way I would spend time worrying about another dude.

I would say the one or two people obsessed with me are lowlife scumbag losers so they are the types that the law can't find.

I have a plan in place that involves a few phone calls/e-mails to large companies.

I just don't see how posting both sides in the same game would work for a tout or anyone else.

So, let's say I am a tout and I want to post both sides of the same game. I have website A and website B. I have a card tonight with 6 plays on it. How do I determine which side of which game to post on website A and which to put on website B? Let's say I put all the dogs on site A and all the favs on site B. And dogs have a great night. I look like a genius on site A and an idiot on site B. So, I'll mix them up. Since I am posting both sides I now have 12 picks. The best the picks can do is 6-6. Depending on how I mix and match them, I might go anywhere from 0-6 to 3-3 to 6-0 or anything in between on either site. I won't know ahead of time which games will be which. So, either I will look like a genius on one site and an idiot on the other site or I will look mediocre at best on both sites.

I just don't get how this would help me. The only thing a tout has is reputation, the only thing that builds their reputation is win-loss ratio. Or number of units won if they don't flat bet.

Now the example above is for one day. Suppose I go 6-0 on site A and 0-6 on site B. Tomorrow I have 6 plays and I go 3-3 on site A and 3-3 on site B. The next day I have 6 plays and I go 1-5 on A and 5-1 on B. Now I look mediocre on both sites. So, no one will follow me.

    I just don't get it.

    Curious:

Many touts do a "pay me after you win" (a percentage of the lock win) scheme. By double touting, they're sure to collect from some people all the time. Taking your 2 website scenario, the double dealing tout is hoping that one site is getting the vast majority of the wins, because those people will think he's God. Naturally the smart crooks post their plays under different handles, so clients don't catch on to the scam. If both sites become too mediocre, then it's time to setup 2 more conflicting sites.

This seems like a lot of work. Why not just learn how to handicap and pick winners? I did it and I'm not that smart.

I love the way you accuse 100% of a group of people doing something. There is no way you can know if 100% of the people on the front page post opposite picks.

I signed up for LT's paid service for a while, made a few $$, can't complain, and never saw him touting both sides of the same game.

Because the tout can make much more $$$ fleecing the public than handicapping. Also, all the time spent setting up the scams leaves little left to do one's homework.
