    Default Bodog wants me back.

I received this email from Bodog today ... I haven't played there in about 8 months because of slow payout ... Any thoughts? ... The $300 is in my account ... I have to admit, I'm enticed.

    Dear xxxxxxx,
This is Marc, the new VIP Manager for Bodog.

I've noticed that you didn't return for the start of the football season and wanted to touch base to see what we can do to get you playing.

We are in the early stages of creating a VIP program which will allow us to have more to offer you.

To kick it off I am testing a small promotion - with a small number of players - and have gone ahead and placed $300 into your account. Simply sign in to your Bodog account (#xxxxx) and you can start playing right away. Lines are up for this weekend's football games at http://www.bodoglife.com/sports-bett...l-football.jsp.

Playing at Bodog is still the safest way to get odds online. If you'd like an update, given all that's gone on throughout the industry over the last year, feel free to contact our award-winning 24/7 customer service with any questions or comments you'd like to share.

If you have any questions, feel free to send me an email or give me a call and I will personally follow up. I am in the office from Wednesday till Sunday (11am - 9pm Eastern).

    Good luck!

    Marc

If it's free I'd play. What have you got to lose.

Yes, I'll play ... I'd be interested in what their new VIP program is.

Oh yes, it did occur to me ... Breeders Cup has never been a winning day for me so a little mad $ comes in handy.

    Whats the rollover on this?

Good question .. I'm assuming it's 5x as with any of their bonuses ... Fact is assuming anything is folly with books ... If I use it for Breeder's Cup I won't have to worry about rollover.

Anyone else get the $300 from Bodog? ... My account there had been inactive for about 8 months as I was elsewhere ... I was great at a lot of churn with my betting $ so monthly betting averages were pretty high ... Don't know what the threshold was for getting the $300 ... I'm pretty sure they didn't give it to every inactive account.

Bottom line is the $300 was a bolt out of the blue and enough to entice me to play with them again ... If I can get a winner or two at the Breeder's Cup early on, it may last all day ... hehe

It's free money. Bodog is a good book. They have terrible lines but you don't have to worry about them not paying.

$300 is a large freeplay. I've never gotten offered anything that large before.

Bodog's desperate for customers. They've always dealt duel lines and had really low limits, but they ran such a terrific marketing campaign that all the small-timers kept feeding them money. Fast forward to the after-Frist effect, and these same suckers who were Bodog's lifeblood are no longer interested in jumping hurdles to fund their accounts anymore. The clock is ticking on when Calvin's gonna run with everyone's money like he has several times in the past...

Excuse me. You "don't have to worry about them not paying".

They owe $49 million in a judgment that was just upheld the other day. They have lawyers shutting down their domain names. They've gone through two name changes in the last two months. They'll be losing their trademarks next.

The only time you won't have to worry about them not paying is when they don't owe you any money.

Yeah take a free shot with the Breeders Cup and have some fun with it. 2 Days/11 Races sounds like a lot of fun to me.

Holy shit, I just withdraw all my money from them. I hope they give me some cash to come back.

$300 is a large freeplay. I've never gotten offered anything that large before.I still play the Freeroll in poker everyday. I make the 99 places some times. keep me going back to just play that.

I think it was $300 cash subject to rollover, not a freeplay.

This would have been a rather big "ouch" ... I did play Rutgers ML at another location.
