Default Will anyone watch a Cleveland - Colorado World Series?

I think it will be the lowest rated ever. I'm sure it would be a great series for true baseball fans and very competitive. MLB has to be rooting for the Red Sox.

Don't know and don't care if it's the lowest-rated ever. I thought going in that the worst possible matchup in terms of viewers would be a Diamondbacks-Angels series. Believe a lot of folks have caught Rockies fever right now with their run. Some folks talk about the ratings as if they might be so low as to mean the World Series will suddenly not be telecast. The ratings are just funny numbers that Madison Avenue will use when new TV contracts come up. Never have really trusted them.

A team that won 21 of 22 and swept their way to the World Series versus a team that went through the Yankees then Red Sox to make the World Series.
Sounds like a good championship match up to me.

The Rockies are the most exciting national league team. Also, put the Indians or BoSox at Coors Field and the scoreboard is gonna light up. I'm so glad the Rockies made the finals it is going to be fun to watch.

You know Bud and the boys at MLB are DREADING a Cleveland - Colorado World Series.

The only people that will be watching are Cleveland fans, Colorado fans, and baseball junkies (like me!)

    I'll watch...but as I said, I'm a baseball junkie.

I love all sports, but baseball is my favorite. And there is nothing, and I do mean nothing, better each February, after the Super Bowl to hear those golden words... "Pitchers and catchers report to spring training".

This is the worst thing that could have happened as far as ratings go. I wonder how much advertisers paid Fox for one 30 sec. spot.

It will effect the advertisement rates for next year.

Pretty much in line with you, Doc. I consider the day after the Super Bowl to be the real New Year's Day. The only thing that excites me about the Super Bowl is knowin baseball cranks within a couple of weeks and March Madness is just around the corner.

Wasn't last year the lowest rated ever? How much worse can it get?
