Default Legendz Cheesy Banner on SBR

Anyone see Legendz Sports new banner at the top of SBR? I understand they are forum sponsors, and haven't screwed anyone that I know of, but it looks so damn cheesy for them to design their banner to say "Rated A+ by SBR!".

I don't think boasting their rating, which has been criticized, is smart marketing at all. We know what their rating is, no reason to include it in your cheesy graphic as if that will separate you from the pack.

SBR is starting to get name brand recognition from the gambling public. I just heard them mentioned by a caller last week on a local Tampa sports talk show.

A lot of books put their rating in their marketing. It is an elite group of books and players and other books recognize that. I think it says something for Legendz to put that out there at the head of a discussion board to be scrutinized. They are confident that they are at the top and should be.

We do not encourage it. Ratings change.

They are an excellent forum sponsor however and an excellent organization. I sure wish they would fix their XML feed for their lines.

I'am a selective type player meaning ill only make like 30 plays all season, certainly 4 the cash ,but more for the action, i only use bet\jam, the greek and pinny as i also take sporatic shots on hockey and baseball, was going to try them out ,but when i read the review it said that for the 1st 30 days they only allowed a $500 MAX ON GAMES.

Is this true? if so does this not meet some sort of criteria for not being an A+ BOOK?

just wondering............

Initial low limits is part of their model. They are rated as a conservative sportsbook for recreational bettors. If you aren't playing line moves it is likely that limit will be increased early on.

I don't think it's Legendz fault at all accept using the BLRTech software. I can also say the same thing about the DPT Sports Group too, because the techies are having some issues with Jazz and ABCIslands XML feeds.
