Very good movie. Bases on the Jesse James Hollywood story. Even Timberlake was surprisingly good in the film.

Seems like Jesse James Hollywood was real successful as a kid; not sure why you would kill someone over $1200.

i thought the movie was pretty blah. not great, but not unwatchable (freddy got fingered, little man, etc.). maybe it's because i expect the girl next door type of movie out of emile hirsh...

Yes those events took place in my home town. I live in Santa Barbara and the real Jesse James Hollywood is in Santa Barbara County Jail. They changed the location and names because that movie was made before all the trials were over. Do a search about Jesse James Hollywood a alot will come up. The murder happened about 3 miles from my house.
