    Default Has a team ever?

Only asking this b/c the pats currently have covered every game they played. But has any team in college or pro ever covered every game they played that year? My guess would be no way but does anyone know?

That was the team that came into my mind first as well Rm. They finished off that season with a blowout win against Pitt in that fiesta bowl too.

Without knowing for sure, I'll go all in on yes for a college team. Any random team playing a 12 game season should do it 1 in 4096 times. Factor in 100+ division I teams over many decades and it becomes VERY likely someone has.

Green Bay 97 or 98 might have... Last year, Ohio State came close.

I know they didn't cover their last three against Illinois, Michigan, and Florida, but had OSU gone 10-0 against the spread prior to that last year? I still remember all those interception returns for touchdowns they had to cover against Penn State

Yeah I remember that game, Ohio State was hot in the beginning and cooled off at the end.

I remember UNLV covering a lot of basketball games...but a lot more BB games than football.

How about if a team has ever not covered in any game?

Maybe the 98 FSU team as well? They were killing teams that year.

Of the teams mentioned, '95 Nebraska came the closest with 1 spread loss. In their fifth game, as a 28.5 fav over Wash St, they only won by 14. 2003 Utah had 2 spread losses.

None of the teams mentioned in this thread so far did it. My guess would be that NO ONE has ever gone either undefeated or winless ATS for an entire season.

Not impossible, but certainly a statistical improbability.

To go 19-0 ATS (regular season and playoffs) would be 1 chance in 524,288 or roughly 1/2 Million to 1.

what about the TB Bucs first football season for zero covers...they lost every game..did they cover any game ??

    1976 Buccaneers (0-14)
The Bucs' debut season was football's equivalent of the 1962 Mets -- but without the wit of Casey Stengel to make things a bit more entertaining. The Bucs were shut out five times and averaged fewer than nine points per game. Their defense was almost as futile, and the Bucs' margin of defeat was 20 points per game. Tampa Bay's quarterback, Steve Spurrier, threw only seven touchdown passes all season. His longest completion was 38 yards.

'76 TB had some covers. Perhaps the Bucs best shot at a win that year was when they lost 23-20 at home vs Miami (TB was a 14-point dog).
